Assistant Director
Rosalyn (Roz) Benitez
Ms. Benitez (Roz) has been with Tucker since before 2019. As a former student performer & department leader she came back to the school looking to educate and give back to the department in a bigger way. Her passion for theatre led her to assist Dyer in directing this year and hopefully more years to come. She is absolutely grateful to the kids for working so hard, and adjusting to having another director. She thanks her mom, and Mrs. Dyer for accepting and mentoring her!

Special Thank You

The Shoestring Players are so fortunate to have a network of parents and community members in our Booster Club.  Our booster members helped to build our set, feed the students during tech week, purchased batteries for our microphones, and provided much-needed support so we can bring quality theatre performances to you!  Please consider joining our Shoestring Player Booster Club by visiting: www.jrtuckerdrama.org

Support from our comminity is what makes opportunities for students possible.  Thank you to our SPBC board, the membership, and everyone who has donated time, talent, or tangibles to make this theatre program a special place for our students!
