Gregore Conlee* (Sweeny Todd)
A thespian with a hunger for success. Greg has performed in a number of shows with the J.R. Tucker Shoestring Players, including Radium Girls, Disaster!, and The Night of January 16th. He has an immense passion for the theatre arts and hopes to make his loved ones proud of his performance tonight!
Armaan Ali* (Anthony Hope)
A Thespian, Eagle Scout, and Senior Class President. He played Chad in "Disaster", Vice President Stein in "Mortal" at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Charlie Lee in "Radium Girls", Rooster in "Annie" etc., he loves working with this cast and crew. He hopes you enjoy Sweeney Todd!
Claire Brown* (Beggar Woman)
Claire is absolutely thrilled to be in Tucker's production of Sweeney Todd! A Sophomore in the Center for Spanish Language and Global Citizenship, this is her second show with the Shoestring Players. She played "Lisa" in "Disaster the Musical" at Tucker last winter. At school, she participates in chorus and show choir. She also is a member of the school swim team. Claire is honored to work with this incredibly talented cast and crew. She hopes you enjoy the show! It's to die for!!
Gaia Eidson* (Mrs. Lovett)
Gaia is currently a senior at JR Tucker in the International Baccalaureate program. Sweeney is one of their dream musicals. “It’s incredible that Tucker is able to pull off a Sondheim musical of this scale!”. This is Gaia’s 6th show at Tucker. Previous favorite roles include “Heathers” (JD), “The Prom” (Emma Nolan), “Annie” (Annie), and “Carrie” (Mrs. Gardner).
Dylan Seoparsan (Judge Turpin)
Dylan Seoparsan, a Theatre IV student, participant in several One Acts, and avid musician comes to Sweeney Todd as the infamous Judge Turpin! He hopes that if you knew him in person, you'd find he's very different than his character!
Lance Cutchin* (The Beadle)
Lance is very excited to play the Beadle in Sweeney Todd, as it is one of his favorite musicals. Previously in Mortal as Ford and Disaster! as the Wealth Husband, also taking over as Chad, he is ready to show how much he has improved and what he can do.
Erica Axtell* (Johanna)
Erica is thrilled to play Johanna in Tucker's production of Sweeney Todd! She had so much fun playing Grace and Marianne the last two years, and is glad to be part of another show. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her!
Baron Kelley (Tobias Ragg)
Baron acts, swims, and does scouts. He sings as a sophomore for Tucker and acts there as well. He has done backstage for Disaster! and performed in the One-Act festival.
Arya Prakash* (Pirelli/Ensemble)
Arya has an exuberant personality, with a love of all animals and a strong academic will. They also have a passion for cooking. Overall, they believe in optimism and thinking about a glass half full.
Kai Anderson (Jonas Fogg/Ensemble)
Kai is relatively new to theatre, with Sweeney Todd being the first production that she has performed in. She hopes to perform in more plays in the future, and that you enjoy the production.
Emma Wilson (Bird Seller/Ensemble)
Eleanor Bittner (Ensemble)
This is Eleanor’s first musical in high school! Its a big jump for her, but she is very excited to be here on stage performing for her family and friends.
Juliana Belock (Ensemble)
Juliana first performed in a play during elementary school, and since then she has been fascinated with the performing arts. She participated in many choral concerts in the years following, but this is the first time they will be onstage for a high school play.
Abbie Durand (Ensemble)
Abbie took on an ensemble role in "Sweeney Todd." She loved working on and being a part of "Disaster!" last year, and decided to audition again. She brings a positive stage presence to the show and tries to put her best foot forward in anything she is asked to do.
Lauryn Hall (Ensemble)
Lauryn’s experience in the performing arts started when she was a little girl. Her first play was A Charlie Brown Christmas. This is her first time being involved in a musical and she fell in love with the show after the first rehearsal. She is also in the Center for Spanish and Global Citizenship here at Tucker. Lauryn has always been passionate about the subject of performing arts and is delighted she gets to express her creativity this year.
Tien Hoang* (Ensemble)
Tien Hoang, a junior student, returns on stage after previous performances in Annie, Disaster, and The Night of January 16th. Outside of theater, their interests include butchering funny accents, Costco shopping, and researching the Amish people. Occasionally, they enjoy eating pies (preferably not human meat!).
Connor Maddux (Ensemble)
Connor lights up when he thinks about theatre!! This is his 2nd Shoestring Players production, and he is excited to be back! Favorite past roles include Carrie (Tommy), Disaster! (Ben), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Puck). He loves to write songs and listen to music in his free time.
Shourya Narayan (Ensemble)
Shourya Narayan is going to be performing in her second musical! She recently joined the world of theatre and Sweeney Todd is a huge jump for her. Nonetheless, Shourya is willing to take up the challenge and is so grateful she gets to be a part of this experience.
Ella Nuckols (Ensemble)
Ella always puts in her full energy onstage to give a great performance. She had so much fun doing Disaster last year and can’t wait to attend the tale of Sweeney Todd!
Dylan Palmer (Ensemble)
Dylan has always loved watching, and acting in musicals. He took chorus classes in middle school, and started really doing theater in high school and has always stayed passionate about it. One of his favorite musicals has always been Sweeney Todd, so when given the opportunity, it was a no-brainer that he would take part in it.
Bella Patterson* (Ensemble)
This is Bella’s third show and she has learned so much from both the music, and the performance of this piece. Sweeney Todd has become a huge part of Bella’s life, and after many rehearsals, they have finally made it to the big day and she could not be more proud of her fellow cast and crew members.
Rei Quarantotto (Ensemble)
Rei hasn’t done much theater-wise, but they have been wanting to be more involved with Tucker’s theatre program. They are very excited to be working on Sweeney this year, and they hope to be involved in more Tucker theatre productions.
Victoria Rogers (Ensemble)
Victoria has never been in a musical until this year! She's very grateful to have this opportunity to showcase her singing and dancing abilities! She's very happy that she has been able to meet amazing people in the cast, and can't wait to perform for an audience!
Vidisha Suryawanshi (Ensemble)
Vidisha is a junior at JR Tucker. She has been in theatre through the IB Theatre classes since 9th grade. She has also been involved in musicals such as Annie and Disaster as a member of the crew, and also played a role in the Bardathon production. She is currently a part of the IB program and has a dog.
Kellen Travers (Ensemble)
Kellen is a sophomore and feels that being limited to one role or position in life never made sense. Theatre is his outlet for being multiple things in the world whenever he needs to feel different from the rest.
