As the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can't control, a destiny he doesn't want, and a mythology textbook's worth of monsters on his trail. Art, in all its forms, not only brings culture and enjoyment to society, but its contribution to fields and careers requiring creativity, innovation, and a maker mindset is becoming increasingly understood and appreciated. The Toms River High School North Theatre Department builds on already strong programs and traditions in our high schools. 

Our Theatre Academy courses of study are designed to integrate art principles across the curriculum.  This is a four-year honors program encompassing all areas of theatre including acting, directing, playwriting, history, and design. 

Our extra-curricular program offers students opportunities in both the cast and crew. Our performers are talented in singing, dancing, and/or acting. Our crew students possess focus in lighting, hair/ makeup, props, costumes, set building, and/ or set painting. 

Our Theatre Department encourages collaboration and creativity. We offer a safe place where all are welcome. Somewhere students can experiment and take risks. We offer opportunities to grow as people and a chance to make new friends.
