Children of Eden Artistic and Production Staff

Director/Music Director
Maggie Gallagheris thrilled to be back at Stained Glass Playhouse serving as the music director and the director for one of her favorite shows: Children of Eden. Maggie has been working on theatrical productions since she was five years old and still loves the magic of the stage. Some of her favorite roles are Dolly in Hello Dolly, Mame in Mame, Reverend Mother in Nunsense, and Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast. Favorite shows she has music directed are Jekyll and Hyde, Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz, and Children of Eden. Favorite shows she has directed are The Twenty Fifth Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and all three Smoke on the Mountain shows. Maggie commends this talented cast and crew for their hard work and dedication in preparing this challenging production.

Stage Manager/Set Design/Sound
John Sheais delighted to be calling this show at Stained Glass Playhouse. He is enjoying working with the wonderful Maggie Gallagher, this talented and congenial cast, and the hard-working folks behind the scenes. He stage-managed and designed the set and sound for ‘The Old Faith, Hope and Charity’, designed the sound for ‘Doubt’ and ‘Musical Comedy Murders of 1940’, and designed the sets for ‘Doubt’ and ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner’, in which he also appeared as Monsignor Ryan. He has worked in several Triad community theatres and likes to think of SGP as one of his theatre homes.

Lighting Designer
Shawn Hooperhas been working in theatre since the mid 1980's, and he is delighted to be designing again for the Stained Glass Playhouse. Some of his favorite shows are: All Shook Up, Barefoot in the Park, Noises Off, and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. Shawn owns Highland Creations Photography, specializing in fine portraiture for families and seniors, most notably his Signature Series of portraits (HighlandCreations.net). This one is for his amazing wife Elizabeth, his friend from long ago, Howell, and his eternal best friend who introduced him to theatre in the first place…enjoy your Best Seat.

Lighting Assistant
S. Allen Tyndallhas served in many aspects of theatre, from acting and lighting to set building and directing. He has been involved with Stained Glass Playhouse for many years and currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors. Allen is employed as a Telecommunications Technician at Novant Health.

Costume Designer
Sylvia Tyndallhas not only designed costumes for most of the productions here at Stained Glass Playhouse, her costume experience also extends from high school productions to dance recitals to animal creations. She is also a registered nurse, a member of the Board of Directors at SGP, and the Chair of the Administrative Council for Marvin United Methodist Church.

Asst. Costumer
Janea Plattis honored to be assisting with costumes for this production. Over the years, she has developed a deep love for the spirit and people who are a part of this theater. Her journey on this stage began with her role in 2018 as Kay Ridgeway in “Murder on the Nile”. Roles since include Cory (“Barefoot in the Park”), Margot (“Dial ‘M’ for Murder”), Joanna “Joey” Drayton (“Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”), and Bernice Roth (“The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940”). This fundraising effort is dear to her heart, and she thanks everyone for supporting such a beloved community theater.

Props Master
Velna Pollockwas first introduced to props when in 2004 she asked a simple question -- "Is there anything I can do to help?" Several years and productions later, she continues to find the experience to be rewarding and a great opportunity to work with very talented people.

Photographer
Neil Jestergrew up in a small town in Yadkin county, and is an award winning photographer servicing the Winston-Salem, Piedmont and Triad areas. Neil specializes in wedding, portrait, and event photography and has a passion for creating fine art from life’s most important moments. Choreographer
Mike Doyleis delighted to present his debut choreography with Stained Glass Playhouse for Children of Eden. Michael’s lifelong love of dance began in Louisiana, where he trained in jazz, tap, ballet, swing, and salsa with Javier's Dance Company. From 2007 to 2011, he danced professionally with the Greensboro Ballet, and he has since shared his talents onstage with the Piedmont Opera and several community theaters in Winston-Salem and Kernersville. He hopes you enjoy the show!
