Children of Eden Cast

Neil Shepard (Father)
, is both grateful to be able to work with Maggie Gallagher once more and especially getting to make many new friends in this production. Offstage, he is a father to four, grandfather to eight, and a brand new great-grandfather... so he has plenty of real-life experience to bring to his role. He has previously appeared all over the Triad area for the past 28 years, but this is his first time ON the Stained Glass stage. "Our hands can choose to drop the knife, our hearts can choose to stop the hating. For every moment of our lives is the beginning."
Ryan Nicholas (Adam/Noah)
is pleased to be making his return to the Stained Glass Playhouse, where he played Tyler Perkins in Old Faith Hope and Charity. He has recently been seen as Lord Abernathy in The Lady Demands Satisfaction at Yadkin Arts Council, and as Lomax Tanner in Double Wide Texas at Yadkin Arts Council. He has been involved with live theatre since he first got on stage in high school in his hometown of Myrtle Beach, SC, and is thrilled to share his love with everyone at Stained Glass Playhouse. Final thanks goes to his wonderfully supportive wife, Caroline, for always being there for him and encouraging him to be his best self and have fun.
Sydnee Steele (Eve/Mama Noah)
is soon to be going into her junior year of high school. She enjoys baking, anything music-related, and reading. This is her first production with Stained Glass Playhouse, but she has previously portrayed Beth in Little Women, Anna in Frozen Jr., Cady in Mean Girls, and more. Much love to this show’s crew and cast!
Arien Price (Cain/Ham)
is a Winston-Salem native who is thrilled to be teaming up with Stained Glass Playhouse for a second time. Previously, he played Lord Pinkleton in SGP’s production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella back in 2024. Some of his other musical performances include - Grease, Seussical, Oklahoma!, Hairspray, and most recently, Ain’t Misbehavin’. He would like to dedicate this production to his younger sister, coincidentally named Eden. He also thanks his friends and family for their continuous love and support throughout his theatrical journey. Carpe Diem!!! @arien.
Connor Thomas (Abel/Japheth)
is excited to make his debut with Stained Glass Playhouse in this production. This marks his fourth show of the year, and he is grateful for the opportunity to Xperform alongside such a talented cast. He hopes audiences enjoy the show and looks forward to working with Stained Glass Playhouse again in the future.
Jolie Steele (Yonah/Storyteller)
is excited to join Stained Glass Playhouse for the first time in Children of Eden. An aspiring high school sophomore and dedicated artist-in-training, Jolie is passionate about dance, singing, and theater. Her previous credits include Janis in Mean Girls (Salem Academy), Juliet in Romeo & Juliet (Arts Based School), and The Cat in Brundibar (Arts Based School). She has also appeared in several independent and UNCSA student films, including Take Care, The Art of Being Loved, They are Wolves, and The Last Days. A committed performer, Jolie is a member of the Salem Academy acapella group, the First Baptist Church Youth Choir and was one of the youngest members selected for the Winston-Salem Youth Chorus Ensemble. She brings over ten years of dance training through In Motion and the UNCSA Preparatory Dance Program to the stage. Beyond performing, Jolie is a published poet and sketch artist with a deep curiosity for world cultures and a strong drive toward her future college education. She is deeply grateful to her Papa & Mom for their constant support and dedicates this performance to her late Nana, Maybelle Steele—a former Stained Glass board member—with the hope of making her proud.
Lexie Carroll (Aphra/Snake/Storyteller)
is thrilled to be working at Stained Glass Theatre again with such a wonderful and talented cast. She previously appeared as Christine in SGT’s production of Picnic last year. You may also recognize her as Clara in The Little Theatre’s A Christmas Carol last December and as Waitress in Camel City Playhouse’s staged reading of The Red Door. She is beyond thankful to have found the blessing of community theatre and thanks her friends and family for always supporting her. With the guidance of esteemed Director/Musical Director Maggie Gallagher and the hard work the cast and crew are devoting, this show will be amazing. We’re so glad you’ve come to see it!
Leayha Crawford (Aysha/Storyteller)

Becky Doyle (Snake/Storyteller)
is delighted to perform in this lovely musical. She enjoys theater of all types, but is most fond of musicals with “big” music, and Children of Eden delivers! A lifelong supporter of the performing arts, Becky finally took the chance and began performing in her 60’s. You may have seen her at Winston-Salem Theater Alliance or Camel City Playhouse, playing various roles like Grandma Georgina in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Mrs. Pugh in Annie Warbucks, Mrs. Santa in YoHoHo a Pirate Christmas, ensemble in Titanic, and several other shows at WSTA, as well as Mother Abbess in The Nuns of Camelot at CCP. Becky would like to thank Maggie Gallagher for having faith in her. Break a leg, everyone!
Cassidy Horning (Storyteller)
is so excited to be working with our wonderful cast on this production of Children of Eden. She is especially thankful for the guidance from our amazing director, Maggie Gallagher, and wants to say thank you to her parents for always supporting her dreams and her friends for being there for her in everything.
Finley Lewis (Storyteller)
was last on stage as Chava in Fiddler on the Roof at Stained Glass Playhouse in 2014, and returns to theater after receiving their BFA in Animation from UNC Greensboro last year. Finley has been acting and singing in community theaters across North Carolina since The Littlest Angel at Kernersville Little Theater in 2009 and loves the life that musical theater brings to storytelling. With animation as their profession, they use their experiences in acting to bring their characters to life on screen, and thank every person they have met in the community along the way.
Tim Pavlik (Storyteller)
has been involved in several productions at Stained Glass Playhouse, most recently Musical Mystery Murders of 1940. Tim has three kids and is Grandpa to two boys. He is glad to be a part of Children of Eden.
