Much Ado About Nothing - DINNER THEATRE Seating Available Cast
Graham Himes (Benedick)Graham is JUICED UP to be in this year's rendition of Much Ado About Nothing. This is his second show at Monroe Central and his second overall. Graham is playing the role of Benedick and loves playing the character.
Ella Simms (Beatrice)Ella is overjoyed to have the privilege to play Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing. She is a Junior at Monroe Central, and between the five productions she has acted in, this is the most unique of them all. Prior credits include: Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts), The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (Susan Pevensie), Robin Hood: The Next Generation (Robin Hood), and Our Town (Emily Webb). She would like to thank her Sophomore English teacher, Mr. Sims, for making her class “suffer” through Shakespeare and learn this play, inside and out. She also wants to give God all the glory, because without Him, she wouldn’t be able to be where she is in the first place. When not in theater, you can find her out golfing, reading, playing around with music, or doing art at any given time.
Josslyn Orme (Beatrice)Josslyn has been in the Masque and Gavel program since her middle school year. She has been in many other productions, such as Beauty and the Beast Jr, Robin Hood Next Generation, Our Town, and a few others. This year, she is playing the role of Beatrice, which she is especially excited about. She is currently a junior in high school. Besides Masque and Gavel, Josslyn does many other things, such as Art Club, FFA, cheerleading, etc. When she isn’t doing any of the above, you can find her drawing, hanging out with friends, debating, taking care of animals, or mentoring Mrs. Walters’s eighth-period class! Honorable mention to her mother, father, and teacher, Mrs. Walters, for all being so supportive throughout everything.
Zadok Lloyd (Claudio)Zadok is electrified to act as Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing. He has played in the past two Monroe Central Theater productions, playing Ambrose in Robin Hood: The Next Generation and George Gibbs in Our Town. Zadok also participates in Cross Country and Track & Field. He enjoys playing instruments on the side and poking fun at Graham.
Bayli Baker-Swift (Hero)Bayli is a junior at Monroe Central Jr/Sr High School. Bayli is so excited to be playing the part of Hero. She has connected with the character more and more as she acts. Bayli has been in many other shows here at Monroe Central. She has been in Just Another High School Play (Herself), Robin Hood Next Generation (Prince Harold of Candelwick), and Our Town(Rebecca Gibbs). When she is not on stage, she is reading and listening to music. She would like to give a special shout-out to her best friend, Aubrey, and to her older sisters, Brie and Nikki.
Lucas Holliday (Leonato)Lucas Holliday is a freshman with a busy schedule, but that doesn't stop him from giving his all on stage. He has been in Masque and Gavel for 3 years now. He´s been a prince, a father, and now he´s happy to play the governor Leonato in Monroe Central's production of Much Ado About Nothing.
Spencer Himes (Don Pedro)Spencer is 14 and a freshman. This is the first play he has done and he is Don Pedro. When he is not acting he is practicing the oboe or the cello and reading. He would like to give a special shoutout to Peanut, Binx fat Hamilton-Himes the 1st, Poppy, and Dulcibear (his cats) for getting him where he is today!
Audrey Willis (Ursula)Audrey is a junior at Monroe Central Jr/Sr High School. She has been in Masques and Gavel for 3 years. She is really excited to continue doing Masque and Gavel throughout her final years at MC. She enjoys Masque and Gavel because it allows her to make friends, and it also allows her to express the side of her people never knew she had.
Amaryah Lloyd (Margaret)This is Amaryah’s first year doing a play for Monroe Central Masque and Gavel. She has done previous plays at Civic theatre in Muncie, and at her church. She is very passionate about being in this production and continuing to act. Amaryah plans to participate in all the upcoming productions in years to come!
Liam Brown (Dogberry)Liam Brown has been doing theater for about 4 years. His very first show was Beauty and the Beast as a villager. He decided to start acting at Muncie Civic after realizing how fun acting was. He did Lion King and was part of the Grassland Ensemble.Then he was in Madagascar as Skipper the penguin. After that he went on to do Our Town as Wally Web at Monroe Central. After Our Town he went back to Muncie Civic to act in Frozen as the Duke of Weselton. After frozen he acted in Alice in Wonderland as the White Rabbit at Muncie Civic. He is excited to be Dogberry for Much Ado About Nothing. He has also done many different sports including soccer for 8 years, wrestling for 4 years, cross country for 3 years, track for 4 years, and baseball for 5 years. He also enjoys playing trombone for the band and is hoping to join the color guard this summer for marching band. He has a passion for acting and can’t wait to do many more shows in the future.
Callie Johnson (Verges)Callie Johnson is a 13 year old 8th grade girl who’s very excited to be in the play again this year. Not only has she stepped up from being “Dead Women #1” last year to “Verges” in this year's play but also she's stepped up from being the loner at rehearsal last year. She has met so many new friends from last year's and this year's plays and is very thankful for them. Overall she is very grateful for everything theater has brought her and hopes to continue doing it throughout her school career.
Lexi Rice (Seacoal)Lexi is excited to be in Much Ado About Nothing. This is her 3rd play! She was in Robin Hood: The Next Generation as Obnoxia and our town as Mrs Somes. She loves doing theater, but when she's not on stage, you'll see her reading, playing her instruments, or singing. She wants to shout out to her family for always believing in her, and special ones for her best friends who have been there since day one.
Anna Wines (First Watchman)Anna Wines is very excited for her role as the First Watchmen! This role she is doing for the play is very comical but yet serious. The other plays she has done with Spencer Lloyd as the director are The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. The other play was Robin Hood the next generation! Outside of doing the theatre she enjoys playing volleyball, playing in the band as an alto saxophone player, and hanging out with friends!
Olivia Weddle (Second Watchman)Olivia is playing the second watchman in the play called, “Much Ado About Nothing." This is her very first play, and she's really excited about it. Olivia is in 7th grade (and possibly the youngest in the play). Lastly, she wants to shout out to her friends and family who hopefully don’t laugh at her performing!

Isaiah Patterson (Borachio)Hi, my name is Isaiah Patterson. I am a Junior at Monroe Central. For this play Isaiah will be playing Borchiao. This is Isaiah’s third play at the Monroe Central theater program. Isaiah would love to give a special thanks to the director Spencer Lloyd for pushing him every practice and getting the best out of him.

Charles Hendrickson (Friar)Charles Hendrickson is excited to be “limping” into the role of Friar Francis in this year's play Much Ado About Nothing. This is Charles’ second year of theater, acting as the role of Sam Craig in last year's play Our Town. He thanks his family for supporting him in his thespian adventures.
Adrin Milhollin (Sexton)Adrin Milhollin, who is playing the Sexton in Much Ado About Nothing, is a current seventh grader at Monroe Central Junior High and it is his first year in Masque and Gavel. Adrin plays multiple sports such as, basketball, baseball, soccer, and running cross country. Adrin has enjoyed joining multiple different clubs and extracurricular activities this school year in order to experience new things and make a wide variety of friends. Adrin would like to thank his family and friends for all of their support in his endeavors.
Kinley Thornburg (Messenger)Kinley Thornburg is currently a sophomore and this is her second year in Masque & Gavel. She is very excited to play as the Messenger in Much Ado About Nothing.
Liam Breedlove (Ensemble)Liam Breedlove is in his second year of Masque and Gavel and he enjoys hanging out with his friends after school. Working on a Shakespeare play this year has been hard but rewarding for him.
Chaney Fouseridge (Boy)Chaney Fouseridge is currently an 8th grade student at Monroe Central. This is his first year of doing theater and he is very excited to be in this production. He is very happy with the people he has met throughout the production and likes the production very much. He is enjoying the experience of being in a play and he feels that he wants to do more productions in the future.
