About Much Ado About Nothing - DINNER THEATRE Seating Available

In the sun-drenched streets of Messina, battle-hardened soldiers return home, igniting a whirlwind of wit and romance. Sharp-tongued Beatrice and confirmed bachelor Benedick trade barbed insults, vowing eternal enmity—until their meddlesome friends orchestrate an elaborate ruse to trick them into love’s embrace. Meanwhile, young Claudio falls madly for the innocent Hero, but their bliss shatters when the villainous Don John spins a web of deceit, accusing Hero of infidelity on her wedding day. Chaos erupts: a faked death, bungled watchmen, and midnight revelations force truths to surface. As masks slip and hearts mend, Shakespeare’s sparkling comedy proves that nothing stirs the soul like a little mischief, mistaken identity, and the irresistible pull of true affection. Will love conquer pride and treachery? In this merry war of words, everyone learns: much ado indeed! (150 words)

Monroe Central Jr/Sr High School

Masque and Gavel staged its first productions in the gymnasium of Farmland High School. From those early days, through many directors, and hundreds of students Masque and Gavel has provided a home for students who wanted to create something magnificent-- to bring words on a page to life. Just like these who have gone before, we could not do what we do without the help of many people.

Mr. Middleton's support has been vital to our success this year; for that we express our undying appreciation. The administrative staff at the high school have been wonderful in too many ways to list; Brook and Becky, thank you! The evening custodial crew has been so kind and helpful: Mike, Michelle, Erin, and Lori, thank you! Of course, we must include the parents. Without those extra trips to the school, costumes, meals, and so much more we could not do what we do. Thank you is far too small, but we give it anyway.

Last, but certainly not least we wish to thank the following for giving financially, of their time, or other resources:
