Maple and Vine Cast

Iris has been involved with many theaters across Northern California for fifteen years. They are elated to be playing Katha - a role they’ve had their eye on since they first read Maple and Vine in 2015. Some of Iris’s most recent credits: Betty 3 in COLLECTIVE RAGE (BroadwayWorld Sacramento Best Performance nominee), and Sebastian in TWELFTH NIGHT at Big Idea Theater, Florence in Green Valley Theatre’s TIPPING THE VELVET, and Titania/Hyppolita in a MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM with Shakespeare on the Vine. Iris would like to give thanks to Elise and Eric for this opportunity, to their loved ones for being a constant anchor, and to all the folks who sacrifice to keep art alive - it is needed now more than ever. What does authenticity mean to you?

Cody Alexander (Ryu) has been acting and performing since 2012, getting his start on stage at American River College. He has also performed with various community theater companies in Sacramento, such as the Fair Oaks Theater Festival, the Roseville Theatre Arts Academy, and Errant Phoenix Productions; some of his favorite credits include ANIMAL CRACKERS (Emanuel Ravelli), SKELETON STORIES (Skelly), and MACBETH (Banquo). This is Cody's first production with EMH Productions and The Artist's Collective, and he is overjoyed to be returning to the stage after nearly four years away. Cody would like to thank his wonderful partner Amanda for keeping his head on straight, the cast and crew of Maple & Vine for welcoming him to their production, and - of course - you for checking out the show!

Eric Craig was last seen at EMH as Tyler in Fragile Things and is honored to be back with this incredible cast and crew. Previous roles include Jim O'Conner in THE GLASS MENAGERIE(Sacramento Theatre Company), Wolf in WOLVES(Big Idea Theatre), Robert Chiltern in AN IDEAL HUSBAND(Big Idea Theatre), Mike in 33 VARIATIONS(Big Idea Theatre), Mason Marzac in TAKE ME OUT(Resurrection Theatre), Mark in THE SHADOW BOX(Resurrection Theatre) and Joe Pitt in ANGELS IN AMERICA(RTAA).

Bethany Hidden was last seen at EMH as Evalita in DADDY’S DYIN’ WHO’S GOT THE WILL and more recently as a Space Witch in MACBETH IN SPACE: THE MUSICAL with TFO Productions. This is Connor's first time working with EMH/The Artist's Collective. We are so very happy to have him on board and bring to life a character he was ready to play 4 years ago. This is a fun dual role to play and showcases Connor's love of this story. We know you will be drawn in and laugh and find his character's heartbreak to be so endearing.
