A Hotel On Marvin Gardens Cast

Rose (Liv Meredith)
Liv is no stranger to Richmond’s stages, but she is so excited that A Hotel on Marvin Gardens will be her first production with CAT! Liv grew up involved in several children’s theatres and went on to pursue acting in her education, first at Henrico High School’s Center for the Arts and then at the University of South Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Political Science from USC while accomplishing a personal goal of performing on all five of the school’s stages. Some of her favorite credits include Top Girls (Dull Gret/Shona/Kit), I and You (Caroline), and Sense and Sensibility (Margaret Dashwood). The pandemic has kept so many passionate artists away from the stage for almost two years, including Liv, but she is so excited to be back in such an incredible show. Liv would like to thank her faith, fiancé, friends, and family – especially her late grandmother Betty Matthews, one of the founding chair persons of the Perkinson Center for the Arts in Chester (please check them out!) – for carrying her through the past two years and being incredibly supportive of all she does. Thank you so much for coming and enjoy the show!
Henry (Joshua Mullins)
Joshua is a graduate of Radford University where he obtained a B.A. in Theatre. Notable works include Banquo in Macbeth, Jedidiah Schultz, et al. in The Laramie Project (Radford University); Juliet, et al. in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [abridged] (Quill Theatre); Clarence, et al. in It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, Jacob in Hugs and Kisses (Virginia Repertory Theatre); and Jan in The Unexpected Guest (Chamberlayne Actors Theatre). He also teaches Theatre III for Henrico County’s Center for the Arts and seasonal lessons with the local children’s theatre company, CharacterWorks. He would like to thank all of his friends and family for their undying love and support.
Erna (Kyle Billeter)
Kyle is a frequent performer in Richmond, VA area stage productions and vocal concerts, and is excited to be making her CAT debut! Past stage credits include Amalia in She Loves Me, Myrtle Mae in Harvey, Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday, Antonia in Man of La Mancha, Sarah in Guys and Dolls, and Laurey in Oklahoma!. Thank you for coming out today to support local theatre!
KC (Crystal Oakley)
Crystal is happy to be “monopolizing” the role of KC in A Hotel on Marvin Gardens, during CAT’S stray cat season. Chamberlayne Actors Theatre (CAT) is moving the “litter box” around to various locations this season. Wait, not sure KC would approve of that analogy! Favorite roles include: M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias, Chick in Crimes of the Heart, Bethany in Temptress, all the Doublewides as Joveeta, and any part future directors are considering her for…….! Hats off to producers, stepping into that role has been as fun as a walk in MARVIN GARDENS, well almost! Get your markers ready---except for the top hat, and get ready to pass GO. Amber, I will always release you from jail.
Bo (Aaron Willoughby)
Aaron is excited to be performing in his second production with CAT Theatre. He is a teacher of English, Communication, and Theatre at the Center for Communication and Media Relations at Varina High School. He previously appeared in with CAT Theatre’s Art of Murder as Jack. Other notable productions he has been involved with include: The Farnsworth Invention as Philo Farnsworth, The Crucible as Reverend Hale, Picnic as Alan Seymour, and Proof as Hal. Aaron holds an MFA in Theatre Pedagogy from VCU and attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh for his BA in Theatre and Education. He dedicates his performance to his “theatre widow” Katherine, his buddy James, and the new addition to the family coming in May.
