Elise has long time been a producer, director, writer, actor and so much more when it comes to Theater. She is so happy to be supporting Riley with her love of this show. Bringing the lights and sound to life for it and helping enhance the moments in the show is a special job and one she enjoys with great love. Riley J (RJ) Burke
Riley is a Sacramento-based actor and director with previous directing credits including a 2016 production of The Vagina Monologues and an online production of War of the Worlds with Solono Community College, and is excited to be taking on The Vagina Monologues once again with her first directing project with The Ooley. Most recently, RJ had the opportunity to direct in a 10 minute Queer play festival hosted at STAB! Comedy Theatre. Over the last three years, Riley has primarily focussed on acting and has had the opportunity to perform with multiple Sacramento and Folsom-based companies, such as: Resurrection Theatre, The Ooley (including the 2025 Women's Wit and Wisdom Festival), FreeFall Stage, Folsom Lake College, Women's Theatre Collective, Sacramento City Theatre, Wildflower Ensemble, and the Sacramento Shakespeare Festival (2023, 2024, 2025). Riley is also a Irene Ryan nominee for ACTF and had the opportunity to be an undergraduate director for the 10 minute play portion of the same Festival.

A Note about VM

This show was ground breaking when it hit the stage and it still continues to hold true so many years later. We hope this show will help you remember what you fear, what you love and what you hope for when it comes to women, their bodies, and their health. For all women.
