
Director
Courtney Weldon (She/Her) 12th GradeIt’s Courtney’s senior year! This is her fifth production at The New School, and she is very excited for the opportunity to direct the show this year. Courtney’s previous productions and favorite roles have included "A Murder Is Announced" [Miss Blacklock], "Red Herring" [Lynn McCarthy], "The Glass Menagerie" [Jim O’Connor], and "The Lightning Thief" [Sally Jackson and Charon]. She’d like to thank Jonathan for the enormous amount of time and commitment he’s dedicated to the theatre department, as well as the whole cast and crew for their hard work and best efforts in putting this hilarious production together. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Producer and Technical Director
Jonathan Rushbrook (He/Him)Jonathan joined The New School of Northern Virginia in 2015 as Technical Director, becoming Artistic Director in 2019. He is proud to have fostered student empowerment both on and off stage throughout his tenure. The school achieved notable success with its rendition of "Red Herring" by Michael Hollinger. Jonathan commends the dedication shown by the students in last year's production of Agatha Christie's "A Murder Is Announced," adapted by Leslie Darbon. He eagerly anticipates the audience enjoying the show, reflecting the enthusiasm and effort of the cast and crew.

Director of Development & Community Engagement
Noelle Andreano (She/Her)Noelle joined The New School in 2017 when the school became a nonprofit. She launched the school’s first fundraising program and has been growing it ever since. She handles marketing and promotion of events, including the annual play. Noelle is very proud of the The New School Internship Team for their contributions to promoting the production. In high school, Noelle did theatre tech, often as the stage manager, for every (12 total!) production. She loves the theatre and especially enjoys taking photos of rehearsals, performances, and the Theatre Tech class creating the set and ambience of each show. She is excited that you are here to celebrate the accomplishments of this amazing cast and crew!

Mollymauk Alkadiri (They/Them) 12th GradeMollymauk is very excited to be part of the show as the stage manager! This is their third and final show at The New School. They are so excited for you to watch and hope you enjoy "Lend Me a Soprano!"

Willow De Freitas Kick (She/Her) 11th GradeThis is Willow's third production at The New School, and her first year as Assistant Stage Manager. She is thrilled to be working on "Lend Me a Soprano," and is very excited for the audience to see the results of her hard work! She'd like to thank her family and friends for their endless support.

Lighting Designer
Benjamin Cauvel (He/Him) 11th GradeThis is Benjamin’s fourth production at the New School, having previously worked the lights on “The Alibis” by Jonathan Dorf et al. “Red Herring” by Michael Hollinger, and “A Murder Is Announced” by Agatha Christie and adapted by Leslie Darbon. This is his first year as the lighting designer, and he is very happy to present his first lighting design.

Georgia Crutchfield (She/Her) 11th GradeThis is Georgia Crutchfield’s first involvement in a New School production! Georgia has been involved with social media publicity and design in the past, so it is an honor for her to help design the website and take charge of publicity this year for the theatre department! Georgia sincerely hopes that you enjoy the show.

Matilda ‘Moss’ O’Sullivan (They/Them) 11th GradeThis is Moss's third time designing costumes for the New School, having previously worked on “Red Herring” by Michael Hollinger, and “A Murder Is Announced” by Agatha Christie and adapted by Leslie Darbon. They are currently a member of Synetic Teen Company, and have performed in both “Romeo and Juliet” [ensemble], and “Hamlet...The Rest is Silence” [ensemble] by William Shakespeare and adapted by Paata Tsikurishvili and Irina Tsikurishvili.

Emmy Gremminger (Any Pronouns) 11th GradeThis is Emmy’s first production with The New School. She is excited to be leading the makeup team for Lend Me a Soprano and hopes you enjoy the show!

Props Manager and Stage Crew
Noa Le (She/They) 9th GradeNoa is thrilled to be joining The New School for their first year, and this also marks their very first experience in theatre. As a new member of the stage crew team, they are excited to explore the world of technical theatre and take on new challenges. They are especially looking forward to helping with the production build and embracing the responsibility of serving as Props Manager. Outside of school, Noa is an animal lover and cares for a leopard gecko and a dog.

Elios Greissing (They/Them) 11th GradeElios is excited to be part of their first production with the New School as a member of the costumes team. While this is their first theatre experience, Elios brings design skills from personal hobbies and has experience styling wigs.

Previously ne has worked on set crew for “Addams Family” by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice and acted in “Greek Mythology Olympiaganza” by Don Zolidis [ensemble]. Ne is very excited to contribute to ne’re first New School show!

Directors, designers, technicians, and student leaders have poured their energy into every detail, crafting the world of the play, refining comic timing, building and painting the set, designing costumes and lighting, managing backstage chaos, and supporting the cast through every rehearsal.
