Step into the wonderful land of OZ with the Horizon Theater! Following the beloved storyline from many childhood's, The Wizard of OZ is a performance for the entire family. Follow Dorothy, a girl from Kansas, and watch as she travels over the rainbow with her dog Toto to meet familiar faces such as the Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, and more! With the help of a good witch, and some ruby slippers, Dorothy and her friends find their way back to Kansas.

The Horizon Theater was founded in 2022 by Cory and Sarah Schaeperkoetter, who both grew up in Sweetwater County. They are alumni from the Western Wyoming Community College Theater program, and have loved the arts throughout their lives. Horizon strives to create a theatrical environment that brings variety, community, and the arts to the county, providing an opportunity for anyone of anyone background to come and perform. Forming this theater has been a dream come true, and we want to thank everyone who made this production, and more, possible, and for the constant support and love.
