Angela Whittaker (Millie)
Angela Whittaker is an actor/singer born and raised in Washington D.C. She graduated from Duke Ellington School of the Arts and Berklee College of Music. She has showcased her craft since then by performing on "The Voice", "Good Morning America" and TV One. She has also developed her craft in the realm of theatre by performing in productions like: "A Raisin in The Sun (Sterling Playmakers), "The Color Purple (St. Mark's Players), "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Chesapeake Shakespeare Company), and "The Gold Night" (Baltimore Rock Opera Society).
Faith Olutu (Phoebe)
Faith Olajumoke "Jummy" Olotu (Phoebe) is a Senior Theatre Major at Morgan State University, and she is thrilled to be part of her first Angel Wing Project production. She previously portrayed Rebecca Gibbs in Theatre Morgan's production of "Our Town," Reverend Whitaker in Theatre Morgan's "Magic City Massacre," Ismene in Theatre Morgan's production of "Antigone," and, most recently, Lady in Red in Theatre Morgan's production of "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide / When the Rainbow is Enuf." She is very excited and extremely grateful for the opportunity to be part of this production with such a talented group of performers under the direction of Angela Wilson
Katana T. Powell (Ruth)
Katana also known as “Katana The Aspirer”, often studies and performs monologues on social media and aspires to thrive in theatre arts. She is happy to be back on stage as this is her second production with the AngelWing Project, previously playing the role of Georgia in 'Clay's Place: Inside My Blue Mind.' She states, “God, my Husband, my 3 Beautiful Princesses and my Family are my Strength and Happiness. And if nothing else I'm going to ALWAYS find my way to my First Love .... The Stage. No Dream is Too Big. The Sky Is The Limit.”
Kristin Michelle Young (Celia)
Kristin Michelle Young is an actress, film producer and stage director who enjoys working behind the scenes, but has a never ending love for performing on stage. She has joined countless stage productions as an actress and is excited to join forces with this creative team. Kristin has studied acting and stage production for over 25 years and earned a degree in television production from Morgan State University. Kristin resides in Baltimore, MD with her awesome husband James, and loves hanging out with their five children and seven grandchildren.
Kameron King (Abraham)
Kameron King is a theater major at Howard Community College and has been involved in theater for many years. He was in HCC's productions like "As You Like It”, their fight "We Could Be Heroes" and "Puffs" as Oliver. He also run crew for RepStage Thanks to Jenny Male, he has been certified in single sword, unarmed, knife and quarterstaff through SAFD (Society of American Fight Directors). Kameron teaches children's theater, participates in improv groups, and acts in his friends' short films. He aims to increase his versatility as an artist/performer. He recently joined the AngelWing project in the production of “Still Rising” in the spring. Kameron would like to express his gratitude to his friends, family, loved ones, and professors for being his best cheerleaders. He hopes that the audience will enjoy the show. He has many projects on the way.
Evan Carrington (Preacher Ben)
Evan is an actor from Baltimore, MD and he's happy to be working with Angela and The AngelWing Project again. Previous AWP credits include: Clay's Place: Inside My Blue Mind (Turner) & N (Deshawn). Previous theatre credits include. Detroit '67 (Maryland Ensemble Theatre), Fences (Milburn Stone Theatre), A Civil War Christmas (Endangered Species Theatre), On National Road (Dramatic Adventure Theatre), A Raisin In The Sun (Sterling Playmakers) South & Saints (Maryland Ensemble Theatre), Fireflies (Confidence Theatrics) Intimate Apparel (Maryland Ensemble Theatre), and Gem of The Ocean (Arena Players, Inc.). Gregory Towler (Corporal Henderson)
Greg Towler is excited to be taking the stage once again as an actor. Gregory is a rising senior at Morgan State University and is also a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated. He has been acting since 2021, and since then, has landed film roles in Cain or Abel, Always Linked, and other films. Some of his theatrical credits include 20/02, Still Rising, Antigone, and For Black Boys, and will now honor the stage again in The Last To Know. Gregory wants to thank God, all of his supporters, and in this special case, Ms. Angela Wilson for allowing him to contribute to the AngelWing Project.
