The Playwrights’ Collaborative (TPC) is a group of regional theater-makers who develop new and original work. Hailing from CT, NH, MA, RI, and ME, they have more than 800 theatrical credits, with their award-winning playwrights produced at more than 300 theaters worldwide and their actors performing from Bangor to Broadway.

Founded in 1991, The Studio is a 501©(3) theater, which serves as a vital cultural resource for the community: to inspire, enrich and engage audiences and to develop both the art form and the individual.

The Studio has just moved to a new location in Salisbury Massachusetts offering a, 2000 square ft. space which accommodates a 62 seated theater and a second  room that is used for rehearsals, children's programming and classes.  The Studio is air conditioned and handicapped accessible with plenty of parking close to the building. 

The Studio is a proud supporter and member of the Newburyport Arts Collective who advocate for, engage, and elevate the non-profit arts, culture organizations and individual artists in the greater Newburyport area.
