MISSION STATEMENT
The Rogue Valley Symphonic Band is a 501(c)3 organization that enriches the Rogue Valley’s community through public performances of diverse wind band literature. Further, to encourage a lifelong love of the arts, the ensemble provides educational opportunities for music students of all ages while also ensuring that its members receive an enjoyable, yet artistically demanding musical experience.
VISION
Our Vision is to foster the love of music, improve our musicianship, grow our band diversity, and enlighten, entertain, and inspire our audiences while remaining financially stable.

GOALS
Establish ongoing revenue streams to ensure the future of our band.
Develop a 3-Year Business, Financial and Strategic Plan to define our needs, which could include the hiring of a part-time business manager.
Foster relationships with Rogue Valley school music programs to spread the love of music and offer opportunities for students to interface with our band to help develop a life-long appreciation of music.
Build our audience base through diverse programming, innovative marketing and community relevance and accessibility.
Ensure a diverse and talented band membership. Seek members of all ages, cultural background, and diversity of experience.
Continue to improve our musicianship and commitment levels.
Work on Board of Director’s development and engagement. Recruit members who have skills needed to achieve our goals.
To bridge the gaps in music education for talented students who will be the future music educators.
