The Wizard of Oz Cast

Cara is thrilled to be performing in her 15th and final show with Ponderosa Theatre! Favorite roles in past productions include Olive Ostrovsky in Putnam and Essie Carmicheal in You Can’t Take It With You. She would like to thank the phenomenal company for bringing the magic to this show! She would like to thank her family and Mrs. Diaz, for teaching and supporting her through these past years. In the theatre, there’s no place like home! Now don your ruby slippers and be on the lookout for that wicked witch, as we welcome you to the wonderful land of Oz!

This is Rose’s ninth show at Ponderosa! Her favorite shows have been You Can’t Take It With You and Addams Family.

This is Brett’s eleventh show at Pondo and boy is it a doozy. What’s up with wizards anyway? If Brett was a wizard, he would sit on a throne next to a monkey in a tuxedo and grant wishes. Brett is very excited for you all to see the hard work the company has done. He has previously played beloved characters including Lord Pinkleton, William Barfeé, and Anthony Kirby Sr. He hopes you have a great time in the merry old land of Oz, and remember: there is nothing to fear except for fear itself and also spiders. Godspeed. Sage Walker (Sound), Senior: This is Sage’s first show at Ponderosa! He has really enjoyed meeting cool people and being part of a team. He would like to thank Ms. Diaz and the sound crew for his experience! He hopes that you enjoy.

This is Elena's final musical at Ponderosa! She's excited to bring the Wizard of Oz to life onstage as Glinda the Good Witch and is glad to see all the pieces of the show come together like this. She enjoyed making her own spin on Glinda and creating connections with the other characters. Who knows-- maybe this version of Glinda has her own mysterious agenda? She's loved her time in the Ponderosa Theatre Company and is glad to have been able to make all the wonderful friends she has throughout this production and those that came before it.

This is Brady's 15th and final show at Ponderosa. Throughout these four years, she has met some of her best friends and some of the most talented people she knows. She is so thankful for every moment on this stage and every memory she's made throughout this time. It is very hard for her to say goodbye, but she couldn't think of a better show to end on. She hopes that the audience is blown away by the undeniable talent and passion this company has, and the heart that goes into a show like this. To PTC: "I love all of you kids, there really is no place like home."

Jack Coleman is finally ready to show his courage as the Lion! He is a sophomore at Ponderosa High School who absolutely loves his two favorite broadway stars, Cara Colwell and Erika Henningsen. Jack would like to thank best selling bio author Addie McNeill, the vista dames, and Mr McGregor for making that pie.

This is Reed's 13th overall show and 7th Pondo show he has been in. Oz has been the most challenging show he has ever taken on, but he is ready no matter what. He is extremely blessed to be playing the Tin Man and he hopes everyone enjoys this classic!!

This is Gavin’s ninth production at Ponderosa Theatre and has had a blast skipping across the stage with such incredibly talented folks. He’d like to thank his friends, family and all those who helped him use his BRAIN to have a magical, MIND blowing time.

This is Andrew's fourth show and Ponderosa and is so excited to be apart of this production. Andrew would like to thank all his friends and family for all of their support and he hopes that you great time in the land of Oz!

Hello there, if I can ask for a smidge of your time. Zayden is a crow, yes, that crow:) he hopes you enjoy, if you have any constructive criticism please refrain, he’s funny so it cancels out. Shout out Brady Barrow, she’s not as funny(joking see I told you he’s funny).

This is Bella’s fith show at Ponderosa! She has loved working with the cast and crew as well as getting to know everyone during this production. She really hopes you like it! “Hehe”

Hello all! It’s renowned jigsaw puzzle and wordscapes champion Julianne Larson. I have loved being a singing tree with all my heart (if only Tinman had a heart amirite). I am truly heartbroken to say goodbye to this theatre program. I am so grateful to Ms. Diaz for being my second mom for all these years. I would not be who I am without this program, and I am eternally grateful to all these people. Thank you!

This is Elena's fifth show with Ponderosa Theater and her third show working on cast. Since childhood, Elena has played countless roles in the Parker area. With a passion for performing and creativity, she is an aspiring artist both on stage, and behind it!

Leo is so excited to be back with the Pondo Theater crew! She has loved getting to be back on stage for the first time since COVID. She wants to thank everyone in Pondo theater for being so welcoming and couldn’t have chosen a better group for her last high school production! She also wants to thank her friends and family for being at every single play, dance recital, choir concert, belting tests and so many other random things in between.

This is CJ’s second show at Ponderosa! Throughout the process, he’s really loved learning the choreography and working with the community. He would like to thank his friends James, Zayden, Gavin, Reed, and his Mom and Dad. He hopes you enjoy the show and thanks you for coming!!!!!

Olivia cannot believe this is her last show here at Ponderosa. She has enjoyed every second of this theatre company and is so sad about leaving. She would like to thank her family and friends for being her support system. Anna is beyond delighted to be a part of Oz and couldn’t be more glad to finish out her senior year with these lovely people by her side. She would like to thank every single one of them for being kind and inspiring people who’ve created such a special community. There really is no place like home.

This is Ashlynn's 8th show with Ponderosa Theatre and a memorable one at that. This show has provided so many opportunities and challenges, giving her experience directing, choreographing, and acting. So many people put so much of themselves into this show, making so many memories along the way, creating this light-hearted show. Ashlynn would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her through her ambitious theatrical endeavors and sincerely hopes everyone enjoys the show. And remember, when in doubt, just follow the yellow brick road!

This is James’ 2nd role as an actor at Ponderosa and his first musical here. He considers this play to be a helpful learning experience. He thanks everyone involved and hopes nothing goes terribly wrong.

This is Emma's third show with Ponderosa. She would like to thank her friends and family for urging her to go out of her comfort zone. She would also like to thank the talented cast and crew. She can't wait to welcome you to the merry old land of Oz!

This is Aidan’s second show experience at Ponderosa Highschool! He’s been doing theatre productions since his seventh grade year at Sagewood. He thoroughly enjoys the Ensemble experience and his various roles throughout the play. He hopes that everyone watching the show enjoys his and his fellow students’ performance!

This is James' final show with the Ponderosa Theatre Company. He is so absolutely grateful for the experiences and amazing memories that he has made in this very theatre. He would like to thank you for coming to see 'The Wizard of Oz' here at Ponderosa! He is very excited to put on this show for you and wants you to know that everyone on, and behind the stage has put their very hearts and souls into this project. Make sure you keep an eye out for him on stage, he might be hiding as a Jitterbug!

David Udlock hasn't done theatre since his 7th grade show of Midsummer Night's Dream where he was cast as Demetrius. David is an ensemble member, so he's glad for the challenge of portraying multiple people. He's super excited to be involved in theatre again and can't wait for future productions

This is Adam’s eighth and final show at Ponderosa! He has loved learning all of the choreography during this process, and thinks it’s one of the funnest parts of any musical. He would like to thank his parents for supporting him during his time at PTC.
