The Wizard of Oz, a musical being put on by the Ponderosa Theatre Company at Ponderosa High School is the first large scale production the theater has done since the COVID-19 Pandemic. The students, as well as their teacher and director Kayla Diaz, and their technical director Nikki Sameshema, are all so excited to get back to “regular” theater. The company has faced many challenges over the pandemic, as they’ve wanted to continue to have theater be an influential part of the students' lives. They’ve overcome these challenges through streaming live performances, having limited audiences, and creating a full scale movie style production, however they are back! Wizard of Oz will have three performances at Ponderosa High School from March 31-April 1, and would love to see you there!
