Tiffany Schweigert
Tiff is thrilled to be back at OCTA! Tiff began her nursing career in 2019 working for The University of Kansas Health System as a behavioral health nurse. The passion she has for mental health has made directing shows like "Fun Home" and "Next to Normal" very special. Tiff has directed throughout Kansas City for local theatre companies such as She&Her Productions, Theatre in the Park,The Barn Players and the Bell Road Barn Players. Some directing credits include: "Wizard of Oz", "Sunday in the the Park with George", "Avenue Q", "High Fidelity", "Sweeney Todd", "Into the Woods", "Over The River ..Through the Woods", "Jekyll & Hyde", "Ordinary Days", "Next to Normal", "Urinetown", "The Last 5 Years", Neil Simon's "Proposals", "The 25th … Spelling Bee", "The Last Mass St. Casimirs", "The Shape of Things", "Black Comedy", "STOP KISS", "Bye Bye Birdie", and "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown". Tiff is overwhelmed with the authenticity, creativity and exceptional talent of the production team and cast, thank you "Fun Home" family for being the kind humans you all are! Tiff is a proud director, but most importantly a very proud Mom. Big thank you to Tiff's beautiful daughter Amelia for helping wear many hats for this production.

Sarah Bezek
Sarah Bezek is a local choreographer, director, stage manager and performer. She is excited to experience her first OCTA show with such an amazing team of artists, working on a show with so much gentle authenticity! Recent productions include "The Music Man" (choreographer/SHHS), "The Prom" (Stage Manager & Co-Choreographer/MTKCPro), and "Next To Normal" (Asst. Director & Choreographer/The Barn Players). Next up, you’ll see her work as the Stage Manager for "Pippin" (OCTA), and the Choreographer for "Something Rotten" (Gladstone TIP). She gives an abundance of thanks and love to her husband, Nathan.
Music Director
Delano Mendoza-Holt
Delano is a Kansas City based theatre professional, working as an actor, singer, director, music director, and vocal coach. As a music director, Delano has led and conducted a wide array of full length musicals, including the world premiere of "Alice’s Wonderland" with The Coterie. He has performed internationally as a cast vocalist with Princess Cruise Lines and P&O Australia, and locally with Fishtank Theatre, The Coterie, Starlight, and more! He has served as a workshop and master class teacher in the Kansas City area, specializing in acting the song and auditioning. Delano also works in the commercial field, having recently done projects for Wendy’s, Hallmark, and TMobile. Outside of the theatre, Delano runs DM Studios, his professional training studio for local singers and actors, striving to create a safe space for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ artists to grow in their craft.

Barbara Jurgensmeier
Barbara feels so lucky to be on the “Fun Home” team. This is her first show at OCTA, but she has been a part of many community and professional theatre productions in Kansas City, both on stage and/or in the pit orchestra. When she isn’t performing or working as a collaborative pianist, Barbara teaches early childhood music classes. Alison Nickel
Alison loves working at OCTA and is very excited to be back for her third production. Previous costume credits include "In the Heights" (TIP), "Sunday in the Park with George" (Buddy Award Winner), "The Merry Wives of Windsor" (OCTA), "Next to Normal", "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime" (The Barn Players), "Pride and Prejudice", "A Comedy of Errors" (The Bell Road Barn Players). She wants to thank Tiffany (once again) for giving her the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful production. She also wants to thank her husband Shane and her son Kaie for always supporting her passions.

Melissa "Em" Loper
Loper has been a props master and scenic painter for many years and is excited to work on yet another show with her college buddy, Tiffany Schweigert. When not creating or procuring, you can find her slinging drinks at Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop in Downtown OP. She is always grateful for the continued support of family, friends, and her favorite vegetable, Brock, most of all.
