We Are Blood Cast

Kendra Keller (Kathleen)
Kendra is thrilled to be appearing for the first time at OCTA in "We Are Blood". Previous work mostly involves plays by or about William Shakespeare, including performances with the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, the White Theatre, Bell Road Barn Players, Fishtank Theatre, and JCCC Midwest Trust Center. Kendra is curious about this non-iambic pentameter side of theatre.
Dani Saunders (Lydia)
Dani cannot understate her excitement for her debut at OCTA. In her near lifelong experience with theater, she has portrayed many roles including Anne ("The Diary of Anne Frank") and Gollum ("The Hobbit"). Dani currently lives in Kansas City and works at the KCRep in their lovely box office. She would like to express deep gratitude to her boyfriend, family, friends and cat(s) for supporting her passions.
Luke Knopke (Raymond)
Luke is thrilled to be returning to OCTA after this past summer’s production of "A Man Of No Importance". Luke has performed in both professional and community theatre in the KC metro, as well as in the Chicago area. He is so grateful to be part of the premiere of this incredible show. Thanks to Ryan, Ashton, and the rest of the cast and creatives. Thank you to my family, friends, and all who support me. You can find him @lukeknopke on all socials. Enjoy the show.
Kelly Main (Nance)

Credits in Kansas City include The Coterie Theatre, The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, Unicorn Theatre, Spinning Tree Theatre, Musical Theatre Heritage, and The Living Room Theatre. She offers private acting coaching on the beginner and intermediate levels.

She is so honored to play this fun role in "We Are Blood", an original play by Ryan Bernsten. A big thank you to Ryan and Ashton for this opportunity. Thank you to Steve and my family and friends for their support!!! Enjoy the show!
Elizabeth A. Hillman (Understudy - Kathleen/Nance)
This would be her first performance at OCTA. She performed the role of Kathleen for the reading of "We Are Blood" in October 2021 and is happy to be asked back. Previous favorite roles include Kate in "The Last Wife", multiple characters in Richard Alan Nichols’ autobiographical "Cat Hole Road", Baptista in "Taming of the Shrew" and Valerie in "The Weir". Thank you for supporting live theatre!
