Haley Piper (Ensemble / Dance Captain)
This is Haley's first performance with NMHS theater, and her first time being in a musical. She is looking forward to being a rockfish in “Under the Sea”, a water lily in “Kiss the Girl”, and a gull in “Positoovily”. She is very grateful that she was given the opportunity to be a dance captain, and she loved seeing all the progress made over these last few months. Haley has been dancing for 12 years and during that time she has taken ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and lyrical. She loves all things Disney and is very excited to be a part of this show. She would like to thank her best friend Lauren for convincing her to audition and for introducing her to so many wonderful new people. She hopes everyone is as excited to watch this show as she is to be a part of it, and she can't wait for you all to "sea" this amazing production.
Himaani Pradeep (Ensemble)
Himaani is currently a sophomore and cannot be more excited to bring The Little Mermaid to life for everyone out in the audience! She has been singing from a very young age and has been playing the trumpet for six years. Her undying love for music plays such a crucial role in her life as she is also an avid member of the NMHS Jazz Band and Marching Band. In her free time, she loves to create new memories with her family and experiment with recipes in the kitchen. This is Himaani’s second year being a part of the cast of a musical at NMHS and she has loved every minute of it. She thoroughly enjoyed being in the ensemble of Mamma Mia! (2023) and is thrilled to continue her theater journey. She could not be more grateful for her incredibly talented peers in the cast, pit, and crew, who have provided her with such a positive environment. She has loads of cherished memories! And of course, Himaani would like to thank Mr. Amenta, Ms. Rosen, Ms. Anderson, Mr. Polhemus, Mrs. Holm, and Mrs. McNulty for putting in all of their effort to make this show as amazing as it is! She would like to thank the cast, crew, pit, Mrs. Rosen, and Mr. Amenta for pushing her to work her hardest and appreciates the patience and passion they give to these productions to make them possible and as amazing as they are. Lastly, she would like to shout out her extremely supportive family and friends for always helping her achieve her hopes and dreams; but she would mostly like to thank her best friend for over a decade, Kyra Chandler, for always been there for her, plus Kyra is the one who introduced the true love and excitement of the NMHS Theatre program! Jill hopes you enjoy this amazing production! She can't wait to perform with this amazing family!
Sadie Winsley (Ensemble)
This is Sadie’s first and last musical performance with NMHS Theatre. Her previous performances here include Puffs (2022) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2023). Sadie is extremely grateful for Mr. Amenta and Ms. Rosen for guiding her along the way and for their constant support. In her musical debut, Sadie is “positoovily” thrilled to share the stage with the incredible cast and with the help of the amazing crew! Sadie can’t wait to join you under the sea!
