GroundWork Entertainment has been producing theatre and comedy events since the mid 80's. Its award-winning stage play "The Heroes' Tale" has been featured in both The DC Black Theatre Festival and The Capital Fringe Festival with 5-star reviews. Their standup comedy productions have been housed at The Soul of Comedy DC, The Comedy Connection of Greenbelt, Jokes On Us Laurel, and coming this June, Fire Station One in Silver Spring

MMTI’s mission is to empower youth and young adults to critically analyze, confidently express, and translate their voices utilizing the following media arts: video and radio production, technical theater, journalism/news writing, art administration, digital marketing, and job readiness. MMTI believes that by providing proper direction and training tools, participants will change how they see the world.
