Craig Houk
Craig is an award-winning DC based Playwright and proud Dramatists Guild Member. He is also a Producer, Actor & Director. In addition to SYD, Houk’s plays include COLD RAIN (published by Next Stage Press, winner “Best Drama” and “Best of Festival” at Capital Fringe 2018), BRUTE FARCE (published by Next Stage Press, 2021 The Loom New Works Festival Finalist, 2022 Dominion Stage Playwrighting Competition Full Length Winner), LOST IN PLACE ANTHOLOGY (2022 Dominion Stage Playwrighting Competition One-Act Honorable Mention), RADIATOR (2020 Dominion Stage Playwrighting Competition One-Act Honorable Mention) and TETHERED. His newest works include THE RELUCTANT HEN, HERB CLEARY MEANT NO HARM and COOLER. LOST IN PLACE: RHONDA & DANIELLE has been included in Smith & Kraus’s “The Best Ten-Minute Plays 2022”. BRUTE FARCE has two monologues included in Smith & Kraus’s “Outstanding Women's Monologues” and “Outstanding Men’s Monologues” 2023. Owen Robertson
Owen is delighted to open the ninth season for LAB with this production. Last season he directed Fire Thief and The Heirs of Pretending. His work, Creating Monsters, has been recently published by Next Stage Press. His training in theater comes from The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D.C. and George Mason University. He holds a B.A in English from Saint Leo University, an MFA in Writing for Stage and Screen from the New Hampshire Institute of Art, and is ABD for his doctorate in education at the University of South Florida. He is the founder of LAB Theater Project and serves as the Executive Producer. He is grateful to be working with the amazing production team and cast for this show, what a journey it has been. He wants to thank the board for their continued support and faith in him and the company as well as a special thanks to his wife, Beth, who stands behind LAB and really is why the magic happens in this company.

Idannys Suarez
Danny is a BA graduate from the University of Central Florida. She's thrilled to be a part of the new season for LAB. With prior contributions on productions like 'The Wendy House' and 'Heirs of Pretending,' this will be her thirdproduction with LAB. Danny is excited for her artistic journey ahead!

Sound Designer
Rick Anthony
A native of Erie, PA, Rick started his theatre and sound career with the Old Opera House in WV, designing sound for dozens of shows, including Jesus Christ Superstar and Play it Again, Sam as well as an award-winning design for Avenue Q with the Coronado Playhouse in San Diego. Since working with LAB, he now lists Fire Thief and Drift as some of his favorite shows. Rick lives in Portland, OR with his wife Kelly and their two spoiled dogs, Gus and Luci. "Although I'm 2000 miles away, modern technology now allows me to be a part of this production for an amazing group! I will be in the green room with you all in spirit every night before curtain. Break a leg!"

Cas Hardy
Cas has previously worked with Lab Theater on scenic design and various behind-the-scenes roles for shows such as 'Creating Monsters' and 'Fire Thief.' Consequently, they are frequently found roaming the theatre covered in paint. Cas plans to continue exploring new and intriguing art forms until their mysterious and unsolved disappearance.
Costume Design
Corinne Todd
Corinne graduated from Saint Leo University with a BFA in Theatre and Fine Arts, and is excited to be a part of another production with Lab Theater. She has previously costumed and designed the shows The Heirs of Pretending and Drift. Apart from LAB she has worked as costume designer for The Great Christmas Cookie Bake Off at Stageworks Theatre, and as wardrobe crewmember for off-broadway shows at Chrysler Hall.

Beth Tepe-Robertson
Beth is a founding member of LAB and has been with the company from the beginning. She has worked in some capacity on every production for LAB. She is an integral part of the company and is the glue the holds everything together. Without her, the show does not go on!
