Tiffany Faykus (Helen Trahan)
Tiffany is thrilled to be back on the stage with the talented team at the Lab Theater. Tiffany studied theater at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and has experience Off-Broadway, Internationally and at many Tampa Bay theaters. Her favorite roles include Blanche DuBois in "Streetcar Named Desire", Britt from the one-woman show "Wednesdays Child" at the Lab Theater, and Aunt Eller in "Oklahoma". Tiffany is excited to be originating the role of Helen in "Syd" and hopes it will prompt many conversations about love, acceptance and inclusivity. She wants everyone to know that "Free Mom Hugs" are always available! Tiffany is thankful for the love and support from her wonderful husband Preston, and her children Caitlin, Rachel and Luke.
James skinner (Bud trahan)
James Skinner is a former social worker and current teacher, actor, and stand-up comic that is thankful to be on the stage again at Lab Theater. The dialogue in Syd especially the words spoken by Bud Trahan is something to which James connects. He hopes to bring those words to justice and hopes you enjoy the show.
Mandy Keen (Syd Trahan)
Mandy is thrilled to be returning to the LAB Theater Project stage as Sydney Trahan in SYD. She was last seen as Stephanie in LAB’s The Heirs of Pretending. She began her artistic journey at Harrison School for the Arts, majoring in Theatre. She achieved academic distinction at the University of South Florida, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English. She trained in improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. She is delighted to be working with such a talented cast, crew, and artistic staff on this poignant play.
Isabel Natera (Beverly Larson)
Isabel has been acting in varying and diverse roles since she was 15 years old. In 1995, she auditioned and was invited to attend the American Musical & Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City. Some of her stage credits include: Stageworks’ Picasso at the Lapin Agile, How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents, and In the Time of the Butterflies; The Space’s Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. John D. Hooper (Beau Larson)
John is thrilled to be back with Lab, having last appeared as a French turtle and a homeless guy in 2023's Lab Laughs. In Los Angeles, John studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, and improvisation/sketch comedy with The Groundlings. Back in Florida, John has performed with nearly every theatre in the Tampa area, most recently with the improv troupe Nine & Numb, and was in back-to-back productions of The Sound of Music and Monty Python's Spamalot this past summer. John is a single dad to twin teenagers Miles and Lily, who (sometimes) live with him across the bay in the suburbs of Seminole. Thank You for reading all this.
