Concert

The celebration will begin at 3pm at the Jim Rouse Theatre (Columbia, MD) with Kinetics Dance Company’s repertory concert, Here/After. The program will honor our organization's history, acknowledge where we are in the present moment, and inspire what's to come. The program will feature work from our current Artistic Directors (2020-present), Liz Quiñones & Alex J. Krebs, and former Artistic Director (2014-2020), Lauren Tait. A special guest performance by Kinetics Youth Ensemble’s Apprentice Company will be in the program as well. 

Reception

Immediately following the concert, patrons will have the opportunity to network with KDT’s community members from past and present at Oscar’s Alehouse at 5pm (Woodstock, MD) for a light reception. The reception includes a variety of unlimited, heavy hors d'oeuvres in addition to two complimentary drink tickets for soft drinks and/or *alcoholic drinks. *Alcoholic drinks will only be served to patrons ages 21+.

Kinetics Dance Company is Kinetics Dance Theatre's professional resident dance group. The company presents work in Howard County, the Baltimore/DC area, and the greater mid-Atlantic region. Through the presentation of its modern and contemporary work, the company shows its commitment to challenging conventional notions of what dance is, who dance is for, and where/how dance can be presented. The company also has a unique focus on dance education and strives to create accessible dance opportunities through workshops, master classes, and guest performances.
