You're A Good Man Charlie Brown Cast

Austin is thrilled to be on stage again with Ferry Tales as Charlie Brown! He has grown up with FTYT with some of his roles including Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web, Horton in Seussical Jr., Oliver Warbucks in Annie, and most recently his favorite role as Hook in Peter Pan Jr. When he’s not on stage, he attends school at Onslow Early College High school as a 10th grader. He loves all things Broadway and enjoys his recent hobby of watching and writing reviews for movies. He wants to thank FTYT for helping him grow on stage and Ms. Kristina for always supporting him.

Alice is Lucy in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown!" Since joining Ferry Tales Youth Theater in 2021, Alice has brought to life a range of characters, from the lovable Gertrude in "Seussical Jr." to the cruel, desperate Miss Hannigan in "Annie Jr." Off stage, Alice's passion for the arts continues as she delves into singing, wrestling, and expanding her acting horizons. Watch her bring her unique sparkle to Lucy, capturing hearts and imaginations alike!

Arlene is very excited to be starring as Snoopy in this amazing production. She has most recently performed as Starky the Pirate in Peter Pan. Arlene’s favorite role was when she starred as Maggie in Dinner at Eight, Dead by Nine. She has also  previously performed as Connie in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Duffy in Annie Jr., a Caroler in Christmas Shorts, and a Who in Seussical Jr. She was also previously a Turkey in Charlotte’s Web and Little Red Riding Hood in A Night to Remember. Prior to moving to NC, Arlene was a Girl Scout in The Addams Family.

Evelyn Leyndyke (Sally Brown) is thrilled to be playing this iconic role. She is a 4th grader and has been involved with FTYT since the fall of 2021. Past roles include Tiger Lily in Peter Pan Jr., Imogene in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Tammy and the Apocalyptic Log Scientist in The Hallmarks of Horror, and Orphan Kate in Annie Jr. She wants to thank her family and church family for supporting her love of theater!

Offstage, Anna is a busy homeschooled 5th grader who sings more than she talks, loves to swim, go to the beach, do cartwheels, draw, and paint shells- Not necessarily in that order! She is a middle child and loves cats and nature. This is Anna‘s 7th show with FTYT and she is so excited to bring the role of Linus to life! She wants to thank her theater family and all the volunteers for everything they do to make FTYT so incredible!

Reese Sears (Schroeder) has appeared in several theater productions with FTYT. You may have seen her in North Pole’s Got Talent, Peter Pan Jr. or Seussical Jr. When Reese is not on stage, she loves to sing, participate in the school newspaper, hang with friends, and partake in NJHS. Ferry Tales Youth Theater has become her biggest source of friendship, love, and support! Much love to Mom, Dad, Ollie, and Titus.

Avery Brogden (Peppermint Patty) is thrilled to be performing in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. She has been with Ferry Tales since the very beginning and loves all of her theater family. Not only does Avery enjoy acting on stage, she also plays the piano and cello. Avery would like to thank her friends and family for their never ending love and support throughout all of her adventures.

Cora (Pig Pen) is so excited to be participating in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.  She is a 5th grader at Dixon Elementary School.  This is her second show with FTYT.   When not acting, Cora enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, reading, and playing the violin.  She wants to thank her family for supporting and encouraging her love of acting!

Savannah is thrilled to portray Frieda as an ensemble member for this production with Ferry Tales Youth Theater. This is her fifth show with FTYT, and she loves exploring and showcasing a new character each time. This organization has become a second home and she finds such joy and excitement sharing the stage and love of theater with all her cast mates. When she isn’t on the stage, she is finishing her final year of elementary school, creating skits and dances with her friends, and playing with her new puppy!

Makenzie Britt (Woodstock) is rolling out her 6th performance with Ferry Tales Youth Theater & couldn’t be more excited to share her big personality with YOU! Makenzie is in the 5th grade & is exceptionally talented in art. When she isn’t creating beautiful art pieces, she’s cracking jokes for her family & friends!

Mariah Britt (Marcie) is an 8th grader at Dixon Middle, who cannot wait to share her stage presence with you in “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.” Her recent credits include AnnieJr., Seussical Jr., & Charlotte’s Web. When she isn’t on stage, she’s singing & entertaining her friends & family.

Penelope is no stranger to the stage! She was most recently in Peter Pan and is excited to play a Baby Woodstock! Penelope holds the title of Tiny Miss Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival Queen for 2024-2025. She loves the spotlight, whether she is singing or dancing. A smile is always on her face and she absolutely loves being a part of the Ferry Tales family! Penelope comes from a very creative family, as her grandma made most of the costumes!

Sully (Baby Woodstock) wants you to know that he loves being a part of this show, and that he is kind, loyal, and likes to help out. Theater is special to him because he gets to act and be with his best friend Penelope. He’s in first grade, he takes Cirque, Jazz, and Tap, and plays soccer and t-ball.
