This is Cayla's 17th year directing for the Crestwood Theatre. She has made it her goal to create and maintain an inclusive, welcoming, and family-like theatre program that challenges her students and offers opportunities for growth and leadership. She is a teacher at Crestwood High School and earned her Master's Degree in Theatre Direction at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois.

I am a visual arts teacher at Crestwood High School and earned my bachelors and masters degrees from Eastern Michigan University. I have been a part of the Crestwood Theatre program since the spring of 2012 and working as a scenic designer and artistic director since the spring of 2014.

Graham Dallas
This is Graham’s second time assistant directing with director Cayla Kolbusz, and you may have seen him on the Crestwood stage as Dan Goodman in Next to Normal. He loves being a part of the Crestwood family and always seizes opportunities to help out. He would like to thank his family, friends and girlfriend Maddie for their love and support, and is very proud of the Jekyll and Hyde Cast and Crew. Enjoy the show!

Paul Abbott
Mr. Abbott graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in music theory and composition and also has a master’s degree in secondary education. Most recent music directing credits include: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, 42nd Street, Guys and Dolls, Sugar, Kiss Me Kate, Beauty and the Beast, Hello Dolly!, Spamalot, A Little Night Music, and many others over a twenty year career. Abbott is a music teacher at Divine Child Schools, and resides in Livonia with his beautiful wife, Juliette, and their numerous cats.

Mina Haidi
Mina Haidi is a Crestwood theatre alumni who has choreographed more musicals than she can count! You may have seen some of her other work at Crestwood, Divine Child or the Players Guild in Dearborn. But she especially loves working with Cayla and coming back to her roots. She would like to thank the cast for their handwork after a long time apart and for always being willing to try new things.

Lighting/Scenic Design
Matt Woldanski
Matt Woldanski (Lighting and Scenic Designer) is a 2016 alumni of Crestwood High School and was a 3.5 year member of the drama club during his time in school, holding the position Head of Tech for three of those years. Since his graduation he has continued his work in theatre, working professionally at venues including the Michael A. Guido Theatre, and Walled Lake School District, as well as locally for events throughout Metro Detroit. Matt also went on to continue his education, attending Oakland University where he earned a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology with a focus in Lighting and Scenic Design and Technology. This is Matt’s 19th production with Crestwood Theatre, his past roles have ranged from stagehand, to sound operator, to Lighting Designer, to Head Scenic Carpenter. Whatever the role, Matt had been part of every show the club has put on since he joined the club as a student in 2013.

Nick Gladkowski
Nick Gladkowski is an alumni of Crestwood Theatre and graduated in 2018. You may have seen him back in the day mixing Next to Normal or heard his sound design for Avenue Q. He has lost count of how many shows he has done sound designs for, but nonetheless is excited to add Jekyll and Hyde to his list! He is extremely proud of everybody in the production for creating something special despite all the adversity this production has faced. Lastly, he hopes you enjoy the show!

Dilyse McKirsch
My name is Dilyse McAllister, and this is my seventh year working drama. I work with Cayla on hair design for the students and then bring her inspirations to life. I help students on my team to learn how to create the different hairstyles. I also added special features to the hats for this show.

Dani has been working with Crestwood Theatre for over 15 years. Some of her personal favorite costumes that she has worked on were Alice in Wonderland and The Addams Family.

Kathy Gurtowsky is the Vice-President for the PCDC. Kathy has been with the Crestwood Drama club for 12 years. Her alumni daughter also helps with Drama. She enjoys playing trivia and cards.
