Steel Magnolias Cast

Abby Bates (freshman) is thrilled to be participating in her first show at CHS. She is very excited to play her role of Annelle and share the stage with her fellow cast members. Outside of school, Abby also participates in Choir and World Language Club. She hopes everyone who comes to see the show will enjoy it!

Alyssa Bergman (sophomore) is exciting to be taking the stage once again this year. You may remember her as Miss Scarlet from "Clue" last fall or as Madame La Grande Bouche in "Beauty and the Beast" last spring. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Grace Goldsberry (junior/member of International Thespian Society) is very excited to be able to play the part of Annelle in the play this year. This is her fifth show with the CHS Drama Club. Her past shows have been "12 Angry Jurors", "Little Women", "Clue", "Beauty and the Beast", and a few one acts. Outside of drama Grace is involved in volleyball, swimming, track and field, student leadership, class officers, and NHS. She wishes everyone in the cast and crew the best of luck, and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Aubrie Hayhurst (senior/member of International Thespian Society/Drama Club Secretary) is ecstatic to perform her eighth show for the CHS as Truvy in Steel Magnolias. You may have seen her in "Beauty and the Beast", "Clue", "Little Women", "12 Angry Jurors", "Fortunes Tell $1", "This Is A Test", and "You’re Driving Me Crazy!". Along with being onstage, she loves to perform with her peers in the CHS Marching Band and compete on the Swimming Team. Next year, she plans on attending Bowling Green State University to pursue her dreams of becoming a high school English teacher. She really enjoyed putting together this production with her friends and classmates and hopes your mom enjoys the show!

Annabelle Lormeau (senior/member of International Thespian Society) is thrilled to be performing yet another show alongside her favorite people. She has been involved in several other Cloverleaf productions, including "Beauty and the Beast", "Clue", and "12 Angry Jurors". Along with drama club, Annabelle is a part of National Honor Society, D.A.R.E., the Student Leadership Team, and show choir. Annabelle is proud to showcase this production alongside such wonderful cast, crew, and directors!

Julia Nagy (sophomore) is in their third show with the CHS drama club, past productions including "Clue" and "Beauty and the Beast". Julia started out as a crew member last year but is now participating in the CHS drama club cast! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Estelle Rasch (sophomore) is incredibly excited to be a part of this year's Cloverleaf production, "Steel Magnolias", where she will play the role of Clairee. This is Estelle's fourth show with the Cloverleaf Drama Club and her third time being cast. She was previously a part of shows such as "Clue", "Gossip", and "Beauty and the Beast". Outside of theater, Estelle is in the Creative Writing and World Language Clubs, and she enjoys cooking and gardening in her spare time. Estelle is ecstatic to be a part of the show and wishes everyone luck. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she does.

Jasmine Shimko (sophomore) is excited to start her second year involved with our HS Drama Club. She is also part of the Cloverleaf Tennis Team and Concert Band. She says she is happy to be in such a nice production with such kind people.

Elizabeth “Lizzie” Stensaker (junior) is performing in her second CHS production, the first being the one act play, "Love at First Thought", last spring. She is thrilled to be more involved in the drama community this year, playing Shelby Latcherie in this production of "Steel Magnolias". Outside of theater, she is included in organizations such as World Language Club, NHS, and the Boy Scouts of America. She is extremely excited to share the stage with her fellow cast and crew, and can’t wait to show this production to the Cloverleaf community.

Madison Vasel's (senior/member of International Thespian Society/Drama Club President) previous performances include "All Shook Up", "12 Angry Jurors", "Little Women", "Clue" and "Beauty and the Beast". Outside of drama, Madison is involved in National Honors Society, takes college courses at the University of Akron, and works with developmentally disabled individuals. After graduation, Madison plans on pursuing a major in nursing.

Claire Vaughn (junior) is excited to be a part of Drama Club this year. This is her second year being a part of the High School Drama Club but was a member all throughout middle school. Last year she was in the understudy performance of "Clue" as Mrs. White and was Silly Girl #2 and a Napkin in "Beauty and the Beast". Outside of drama she is a member of Student Council, NHS, and Hope Squad. She is also on the varsity volleyball team. She wishes everyone the best of luck with the show and hopes that you enjoy it!
