Night of One Acts 2024 Cast

Abby is a Junior and has been a part of CMHS theatre for three years. This is her third NIGHT OF ONE ACTS. She is the Drama Club Co-President with her best friend, Sam. Her most recent CMHS shows are PUFFS as Leanne and GUYS AND DOLLS as General Cartwright. Over the summer she was in a production of FOOTLOOSE through the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center Youth Rep program. Her proudest accomplishment was starring in the Independent film RAT MAN 2: THE SAGA CONTINUES. She is so excited to not only be starring in two one acts but also directing for her first time! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Sam is the proud Co-President of the CMHS Drama Club with their best friend, Abby Ditlow. You may remember them from last year's Night of One Acts when they played the role of “Actor” in Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon and portrayed multiple “variations” of the characters in Cinderella in under 3 minutes! They were also their dream role as The Narrator in CMHS' spring production of PUFFS. Their most recent shows were both with the Colorado Springs Conservatory (Titanic - the role of a bell boy who tragically died and jumped on people) and a memory musical (Is There Life After High School? - where they played a variety of different people and sang a groovy song.). They are excited to show you three very different characters in tonight's NIGHT OF ONE ACTS.

Cordova is a junior who has been at CMHS for 2 years after moving from Germany. Cordova works on balancing school work, theatre and horseback riding. She has been cast as Jane in CMHS's Spring Play, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE which performs in April and is so excited to continue acting. Cordova loves hanging out with her friends, her dog and she would like to thank her sister for being so supportive during the crazy processes of plays, and her parents for their continued support in everything she does.

Natalie is a senior and this is her third year in the Advanced Acting class. She is also a participant in Speech and Debate, and in Show Choir was last seen on stage as Mimi in Guys and Dolls. Natalie played Viola in Twelfth Night, Zach Smith in PUFFS, and Dog in Failure: A Love Story

Ashlyn Penny is a Junior in the Advanced Acting class, as well as a member of NAHS and Drama Club. You may have seen her recently perform a scene from MACBITCHES as Hailey at the Thespian Showcase, or as Sally in PUFFS. She loves acting and hopes to continue theatre at CMHS, and aspires to be a film actress in her future.

Briana is a freshman and is excited to do theatre all of her High School years. Most recently she played Sir Toby Belch in the fall production of TWELFTH NIGHT. She also participates in choir at CMHS.

Addison is a junior and has been involved with theatre since her middle school production of Twain's Tales at Derby Middle School in Derby, Kansas. Since then, she has taken on ensemble roles in Failure: A Love Story, Twelfth Night, and Identity Play. Most notably, though, you may remember her for her role as Megan Jones in PUFFS. Addison doesn't quite know what she's going to do in her future, but she knows she loves to play pretend with her buddies in the Black Box. Emery is a freshman at CMHS. She was last seen on the CMHS stage in Guys and Dolls. She performed in Schoolhouse Rock at the Jr High, and is currently in Pride and Prejudice! She is in the Beginning Drama class and she plans to take more acting classes later on! She is so excited to continue acting at the high school!

Claire is a freshman and has participated in Speech and Debate/Forensics since 7th grade. She was in Choir and Musical Theatre classes at the Jr. High and performed multiple times. She is in the Beginning Drama class and plans to be involved in more drama and acting events in the future.

Niko is a freshman that has been in theater for 3 years. He is in the Board Game Group and DnD Club at CMHS. He loves history and movies. His performance is inspired by his dog. Love to Lucy. Ruff ruff!

Azara performed at CMJrH in Schoolhouse Rock Jr! and was last seen in the CMHS Fall Musical, Guys & Dolls. She is currently in Beginning Drama and has been taking theatre as an elective for three years, along with being in Choir. She is going to have her first experience of being a part of the tech crew in the upcoming production of Pride & Prejudice this spring! Azara is very excited to keep on doing theatre and choir, and plans to do it after high school as well.

Game Night (Humans Only, Please) is the first on stage performance for Katie. She worked on the makeup crew for Guys and Dolls, but considers herself new to the theater scene. Katie is looking forward to expanding her experience and involvement when it comes to theater and loves to push herself outside of her comfort zone. She plans on joining technical theater next year to explore and develop more backstage theater skills.

Madi is a freshman and in addition to Drama they have taken Theatrical Makeup and hope to keep improving her stage makeup skills. She was a part of the makeup crew for Guys and Dolls. On stage or off, she hopes to continue being a part of theater all throughout high school.

Kingston is a 9th grader and a member of Ms. Papproth's Drama class. He has been acting since he was a little kid and fell in love with it as soon as he started. Outside of acting he participates in indoor skydiving as his main hobby. He wants to go to the Air Force Academy to join the Wings of Blue skydiving demo team as a career.

Oliver is a member of Ms. Papproth's Drama class. He is a senior and this is his first time performing in a CMHS drama/theater production. While Oliver is not a soccer player, he does play tennis, snowboard, and hike. He loves to act, and will also be performing in the CMHS Spring Slay, an adaption of Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" by Kate Hamill, as Mr. Bingley.

Meggan has appeared in several theater productions over the last five years. As a high school freshman, she was cast in multiple roles for the musical GUYS AND DOLLS including a Hot Box Dancer. Meggan's unique ability to stand out in a crowd has been recognized by theater instructors and audience members. She enjoys singing and voice acting, and was the lead for the play PAPER AIRPLANES in 4th grade. She has also been in many choirs.

Bailey is excited to participate in her first semester of acting at CMHS. She is currently cast as Miss Bingley of the upcoming production of the CMHS Spring Play, Pride and Prejudice and is active in the Drama Club. Bailey is looking forward to continuing her passion for theater at CMHS for the next two years. Bailey has been a part of other productions such as The Diary of Anne Frank, Into the Woods, and A Midsummer Night's Dream, and hopes to continue taking classes at The Academy of Children's Theater. She would like to thank her parents in supporting her decision to transfer to CMHS, and to Mrs. Papproth for fitting her into the production so last minute!

Bridget is a Freshmen and this is her first year as part of the district as well as her first time taking a Drama class. She has been in the ensemble in different musicals in middle school as well as playing Izzy in the musical, The Wicked Witch. She is excited to be a part of the One Act Play and to portray the main antagonist.

Isaiah Stall is a senior and has been apart of the Advanced Acting class for 3 years. He has been in many performances including Failure: A Love Story and several one act plays at CMHS as well as productions in the Co. Springs community. He is super passionate about acting and has been for a long time. He hopes to make the most out of these last few performances at CMHS and is interested in acting on film in the future.

Shannon is a Junior and this is their second year doing theatre at CMHS. They played the Priest in TWELFTH NIGHT, and the first headmaster, along with various other rolls (including DRAGONS!), in PUFFS. In the fall, he stage managed for GUYS AND DOLLS and learned a lot with his co-stage managers (treat your techies well!!). Shannon is a Thespian and is a member of CMHS Mock Trial and DECA. They can't wait for everyone to see all of the hard work that was put into the One Acts, and hope you enjoy the show!

Briana is a Sophomore and is performing in two one-acts tonight and has directed A GAME. This is her fifth school production which include Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Dancer), Twelfth Night (Sir Toby Belch), and PUFFS (Mertyl, Bippy and others) and she is thrilled to be a part of it. She also sings with the CMHS Choirs and looks forward to participating in both in later years.

Skyler is a senior.

Miles is a senior and trying something new in Advanced Acting. His past performance experience includes Improvisation at CMHS and playing a character at the Co. Renaissance Festival. Miles is also the DM for the CMHS Dungeons and Dragons Club and plays D & D with other groups as well.
