Student Directed One Acts Cast

Cole Adams, currently a sophomore, is excited to embody the role of Kai in Chloe Lutz's "Nevermind". They find joy in acting and has a deep affection for animals. With an ambition to pursue zoology in the future, they contemplate how they might blend their love of acting with their passion for animals. They hope you enjoy the show!

Spencer Anderson, a sophomore, is currently playing Florian and Questionable Man in Isabella Dill’s production of “Happily Ever After”. This is his first year of acting, as he has been a crew member for the past 3 years and 5 shows, but he is ready to be on stage and hopefully put on an amazing show for all to see! He hopes you enjoy the show!

Ava Brock is a senior playing Rory in 'Nevermind.' Having done crew for the past year, she is excited to have the chance to be onstage again. Outside of theater, she enjoys science, math, and a good book.

Grim is a senior here at Center Grove and has been in CG their whole life. They love cartoons and weird animals like opossums raccoons and skunks. For the past three years they’ve become passionate about theater working in crew during fall musicals and acting in spring plays. For the one acts this year they are glad that it’s become possible because of Ms. Torrey. Not only for them but they are glad to see fellow students share their creativity in such a wide range.They are a creative and kindhearted person willing to help out one another and happy to be here at CG one last year.

Ava Cuskaden is a senior playing Parker in Chloe Lutz’s one act, Nevermind. Her participation in productions during high school includes Freaky Friday, Peter and the Starcatcher, Little Shop of Horrors, Trap, and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, but she has been involved in theater since elementary. Ava is involved in a variety of clubs and is also dance captain of the Center Grove Debtones. Outside of school, Ava enjoys reading, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. Ava is excited for this unique opportunity to perform and work alongside her friends!

Paige Gordon is a sophomore at CGHS. Paige has been in 4 Center Grove Musical which are High School Musical Jr., Aladdin Jr., Beauty and the Beast Jr., and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Outside of Theatre, Paige enjoys playing softball and reading. She is also a Varsity Choir meme her in Debtones here at CG and she is an Officer in the school Best Buddies group. Paige hopes you enjoy the show and will continue to support the theatre department here at CG!

Uther Henderson is a senior playing the role of Thomas in Caleb Smith's "Candlelight." Being a devout fan of theatre dramas, Uther hopes that "Candlelight" will entertain, challenge, and tug at the heartstrings of audiences.

I jump from hyperfixation to hyperfixation. Lucky for you guys it's currently theatre.

Abigail is currently a senior in the Early College program. She is currently planning to attend Ball State and major in visual arts and animation. She hopes to continue doing theatre after high school.

Leila Mohammed is in her Junior year at Center Grove. She plays Sage in Chloe Lutz one act, Nevermind. She’s been doing theater since her 8th grade and has been a part of the cast of Trap. Leila loves theater almost as much as she loves reading and music. Outside of school she plays piano and has read more books than she can count just this year. When Leila graduates, in 2025 she plans on pursuing law. She can’t wait for you to see all the one acts.

Silu, a senior, is playing Catelyn. Outside of theater, she is co-president and founder of Crochet Club, in the 4th year of PLTW Biomed, and a member of Women in STEM, HOSA and Spanish Honor Society. She’s very excited to show her maturity, vulnerability and everything she’s learned in her 6 years of theater experience through this show. She’d like to thank everyone for their support!

Ash Rice is a Junior at Center Grove. He has been in both cast and crew in the theatre department for the past few years and is excited to preform again. He is planning to study marine biology and ichthyology, but theatre will always be in his life.

Ray, a senior, is playing Snow in Happily Ever After. This is their first show. They are the All Student Body Treasurer of Student Government, President of Culinary Club, Vice-president of French National Honor Society, and a runner on the cross country team. They are also the SkillsUSA Baking and Pastry State Champion and competed nationally representing the state of Indiana in Georgia last summer.They plan to study Biomedical Engineering at Purdue next year.

Maria has been in theatre since elementary school (That’s 10 years!). Queenie is her first role in high school. Previous roles have been ensemble, a member of the Russian Mafia, a munchkin, Yellowbeard, Greek chorus, and probably more. They hope you enjoy the show!

Kierston Taylor is a sophomore at CG. She loves to do theatre and spend time with her friends. This will be her 16th theatrical production and she’s excited to be a part of it! She wants to thank her friends who have been so supportive throughout her high school journey, and Mrs. Torrey and all the directors for this amazing opportunity. She hopes you enjoy the show!
