Director
Riley “Austyn” Wood
Austyn’s first year in theater was last year when she was in Stage Management. For the one acts she performed, did sound, and lights. The next show was twelve angry jours and she did lights for that. Then came Shrek the musical. Austyn helped in costumes, was a dragon puppeteer, happy villager, guard, and the Pide Piper. The last show was High School Musical, Austyn was Ripper the skater dude that plays the cello. Austyn is so excited for this year, her senior year! She is so excited to direct scenes in Our Place! Austyn wants to give a special thank you to her sister (Jade) who introduced her to Hamilton that sent her down the theater rabbit hole! She would also like to thank her Grandfather “Grampy.” For his birthday all of the women in the family took him to see Wicked and that sparked something in her. Every time she would tell him she had a show he was so excited! Of corse a hide shout out when to her Mom, Dad, brother (Blaine), sisters (Kiya and Josi), and Grandmother “Nana.” She would love to thank them for always being excited and proud of what she’s doing!
