Eric Sharp III (Aladdin)
Eric is a 13-year-old 8th grader at Thomas W. Dortch Academy at BEST Academy. He enjoys gaming and listening to music, and has been part of theater for almost a year. Working on this show has taught him how to step into new personalities and bring characters to life with confidence. Eric is passionate about music and dreams of becoming a rapper or musician. Eric’s biggest theatrical accomplishment thus far was landing the role of Prince Naveen in the Frog Prince.. To Eric, being part of Broadway on Bankhead means proving that even the “underdog” can shine in the spotlight.
Alisandra Thomas (Abu)
Alisandra is an 11-year-old performer with a strong musical background as a member of her middle school choir. Known for her versatility and enthusiasm, Alisandra enjoys exploring a variety of roles onstage and brings creativity and commitment to every performance opportunity.
Ze'Laya Saunders (Carpet)
Zelaya is an 8-year-old performer who loves acting and dancing. She prides herself on strong line memorization and brings a vivacious, energetic spirit to the stage. Zelaya’s enthusiasm and confidence make her a joy to watch, and she is excited to continue growing as a young performer in this production.
Ava Carter (Princess Jasmine)
Ava is 13 years old and an 8th grader at KIPP Atlanta-Woodson Park Academy. She’s been in theatre for one year and has enjoyed learning to improve her dance skills. Ava is grateful for the friendships she’s made through the theater and is excited to keep growing as both a performer and student. Outside of theater, Ava competes in track and enjoys swimming. She plans to become a lawyer in the future. To Ava, Broadway on Bankhead is simply put, “fun.”
Arianna "Ari" Adamson (Princess Jasmine Understudy/Ensemble)
Ari is an 11-year-old performer and proud ensemble member of The Return of the Grinch She attends W.J. Scott Elementary School and is in the 6th grade! Ari has been involved in Theatre for 5 years, and she loves how creative she can be when stepping into different characters and expressing a variety of emotions. When she’s not on stage, Ari enjoys dancing, painting, and shopping, and one of her favorite mottos is: “Improvement can take you a long way in life.” In the future, she hopes to study dance and work as a choreographer. Being part of Broadway on Bankhead means a lot to Ari; it has helped her grow more confident in herself by watching and learning from her amazing peers.
Anari Vassar (Genie 1)
Anari Vassar is an 11-year-old performer and a sixth-grade student at DeKalb Arts Academy with a strong passion for the performing arts. Aspiring to become a professional actress, Anari approaches every role with focus, discipline, and a deep respect for her craft. She brings a wonderful balance of experience, confidence, and infectious enthusiasm to the stage, captivating audiences with her presence and commitment. Anari previously starred as the lead in Madeline’s Christmas, where she demonstrated both range and leadership, and she continues to shine in every production she joins, consistently elevating the work around her.
Zaida Lemon (Genie 2)
Zaida is a 12-year-old 7th grader at John Lewis Academy. She loves to write, dance, and read, and has been involved in theater for the past three years. Her favorite role so far has been Cindy Lou Who, because the character was close to her own age and helped her learn how to express her true personality on stage. In this production, Zaida has learned that performing means reaching every audience member; including those who are deaf or blind. While she says she doesn’t have a hidden talent, she enjoys drawing in her free time and dreams of studying law after she graduates. For Zaida, being part of Broadway on Bankhead means she has the confidence and ability to perform on any stage.
Princess Harrell (Jafar)
Princess is a 10-year-old performer and student at Harper-Archer Elementary School. She has appeared in several theatrical productions, including The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, and The Princess and the Frog. Princess brings a calm, steady presence to every role she takes on and enjoys being part of the collaborative process that brings stories to life on stage. With a relaxed personality and growing experience in theatre, she continues to build her skills and explore her love for performance with each new production.
Sanari Muhammad (Liago)
Sanari is a 12-year-old 7th grader at Sandtown Middle School. She enjoys drawing, dancing, acting, and playing in her free time. With three years of theater experience, she has learned the importance of collaboration and confidence on stage. Sanari has the unique hidden talent of being ambidextrous; true of only 1% of the planet. She hopes to become either a performer or an artist when she grows up. For her, Broadway on Bankhead feels like family and offers the chance to meet new people who share her love of the arts.
Dulce Perez (Treasure Hunter)
Dulce Perez is a 13-year-old student at John Lewis Academy, currently in the 8th grade. She loves listening to music, playing video games, and watching movies. After attending Broadway on Bankhead’s production of Oz, Dulce knew she wanted to be part of the BOB Family! She enjoys reading the scriptures at church and was even told by her praise director that she can sing; though she's still deciding if she believes them! Dulce dreams of becoming a film actor and performing on Broadway one day, and being part of Broadway on Bankhead has given her a great start toward making that dream a reality. She looks forward to growing as a performer and hopes to take on even bigger roles in the future.
Omera Muhammad (The Sultan)
Omera is a 13-year-old 8th grader at Sandtown Middle School. She enjoys crocheting, playing in the band, and gaming. Though she’s only been in theater for a month, she has already learned how to project her voice with confidence and step into character. One of her hidden talents is the ability to cry on command, a skill that adds to her dramatic flair. She dreams of becoming an entrepreneur, and Broadway on Bankhead gives her the opportunity to explore her creativity and share her many talents with others.
Bailey Davis (Ensemble)
Bailey Davis is a talented 10-year-old actor and a 5th grade student at KIPP Woodson Park Academy. She discovered her passion for performing through her school play and has continued to pursue acting ever since. Bailey is thrilled to join the Broadway on Bankhead family and shine on stage.
Meilani Thomas (Ensemble)
Meilani is a 9-year-old performer with a love for storytelling and musical theatre. She is a member of the Atlanta Music Project Choir and brings both vocal strength and stage presence to every role she takes on. Meilani was excited to step into the world of Theatre at Broadway on Bankhead and continue growing as a young performer.
Harmony Robinson (Ensemble)
Harmony is an 8-year-old performer and third-grade student at Centennial Academy. She brings enthusiasm, imagination, and a love for character work to the stage. Harmony previously appeared in The Lion King as a hyena and is excited to continue growing her theatrical skills while joining this production.
Ma'isah Moore (Ensemble)
Ma’isah is an 8-year-old performer and second-grade student at BPA. She is new to the stage and eager to explore the world of theatre through ensemble performance. Ma’isah is excited to learn, grow, and contribute her energy and creativity to this production.
Zuri Cannida (Ensemble)
Zuri is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade at King Springs Elementary. She loves to jump rope, roller skate, dance, do gymnastics, play with friends, and travel. This is her very first year in theater, and she has already learned so much about dancing and acting. Her future goals are just as big as her imagination: she wants to be an author, performer, architect, artist, and hairstylist. Being part of Broadway on Bankhead gives her the chance to do what she loves most, which is dance and act!
