A Song For Coretta by Pearl Cleage revolves around 5 African American women who gather on February 7th, 2006 outside the Ebenezer Baptist Church to pay tribute to civil rights activist Coretta Scott King.  These women are from various background and, together, they share the impact Mrs. King had on each of their lives.  This inspiring and touching play is about the meaning and influence of Mrs. King and how she impacted not only these women, but generations of women from all walks of life.
