Kevin Caudill (Bob Martindale)
Kevin is pleased to be back on stage so soon after his BSP debut in Life Sucks last season and to be part of an amazing show. The cast is so incredibly talented and it has been an amazing experience. This show has pushed Kevin as an actor to give everything he has to make sure the heart of the narrative drives right into the very beings of the audience. Kevin is overjoyed at having been given the opportunity. He is forever thankful to his friends and family for support and even more so to the cast, crew, and director. An absolute honor to work and be in the presence of such talent and heart.
Hali Malecki (Millie Martindale)
Hali is thrilled to be a part of this show and to be able to work alongside all the other wonderful people in the cast and crew. Other Black Swamp credits include Megan Jones in Puffs, Trisha in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Twirler in Talking With, and Olive Madison in The Odd Couple: Female Version, among many more. She has also performed with the Toledo Rep as Kiki in Significant Other and with ACT as Jamie in American Hero and Millie in Fourteen Funerals.
Heath A. Diehl (Jim Baxter)
Heath is thrilled to have the privilege to work with Barbara and this cast on such a timely piece of theater. Previous acting credits include Narrator in Puffs, Ed in The Curious Incident of the Dog In the Night-Time, Ensemble in Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992, Herb in I Ought to be In Pictures, and Edward in Psych. Previous directorial credits include Nora: A Doll’s House (BSP), Marjorie Prime (BSP), August: Osage County (BSP), The Guys (TBD), Gideon's Knot (TBD), The Drowsy Chaperone (BSP), and The Odd Couple (Female Version) (BSP). Professionally Heath is Teaching Professor in the Honors College and English Department at BGSU. He currently serves as Board President for BSP, as Board Vice President for Northwest Ohio Community Shares, and as Board President for Wood County Humane Society. In his personal life, Heath enjoys spending time with his very supportive husband of twenty-seven years, Gary, and their clowder of eight rescue cats (Kit, Jules, Shangela, Monarch, Minnie, Buzz, Patrice, and Elsie).
Rin Moran (Norma Baxter)
Rin has been acting on stage and film in northwest Ohio since 2002. As a member of Lionface Productions and Beautiful Kids Independent Shakespeare, she has appeared in many classic roles such as Ophelia, Lady Macbeth, Mercutio, Titania, Mephistopheles, and many more. She is also an avid voice actor, most notably as Jhori Ostiir on Ghostlight Media's “Imprinted Echoes.” Rin has won multiple awards for her work, including an OCTA award for Excellence in Acting for her role as 'Woman' in “I Will Never Play Hamlet.” Rin most recently appeared in Black Swamp Players' world premiere of "Jennifer's Birth" as Adele, and is thrilled to be continuing to perform with the Players in "Perfect Arrangement."
Joe Capucini (Theodore Sunderson)
Perfect Arrangement is Joe’s first production with Black Swamp and he is honored to be here. As an actor, Joe has most recently been seen in Amadeus (Antonio Salieri, Toledo Rep - ‘24), Definition of This (Rep – ‘22), American Son (ACT/Rep - ‘22), and Apartment 3A (Village - ‘22). Living in LA (2014-21), he appeared in the West Coast premiere of A Time to Kill, several stage plays, Disney XD, and a couple national commercials. As director, he directed Red Speedo (ACT/Rep – June ‘24) as well as the OCTA-selected play The Thanksgiving Play (ACT – Nov. ‘23), and Significant Other (Rep – Feb. ‘23). Joe is the writer of an award-winning short film screenplay, Permission. He is a proud alumnus of UT’s Department of Theatre, ACT Board member, and Fremont native. To the NW Ohio theatre-going audience, “thank you for revolting again A.I./CGI entertainment and supporting local LIVE theatre!” ----- To Barbara, “thank you, with eternal likingishness!”
Monica Hiris (Kitty Sunderson)
Monica Hiris (Kitty, Assistant Director) is grateful to BSP and Barbara Barkan for the opportunity to be part of Perfect Arrangement on stage and behind the scenes. This year Monica has been part of BSP’s “The Moors” (Moor-hen) and Monroe Community Players’ “Steel Magnolias” (Clairee). Other favorite roles include Violet in August: Osage County and Siobhan in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. She is touring through the rest of this year in Toledo Children’s Theater Workshop’s two-woman play “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,” coming to a library or elementary school near you! Monica dabbles in film and this year starred in the drama The Aberdeens Are Coming. She has a supporting role in the local movie An Unusual Christmas and has a guest role in the Ann Arbor-based comedic web series Drop-offs.
Thea Grabiec (Barbara Grant)
Thea is thrilled to be making her debut on the Black Swamp Players stage! She has spent the last 30 years on the stages of Toledo but has finally made it to BG! Some of her favorite roles to date include: Billie in Born Yesterday, Annie in Apartment 3A, Senga in Dancing Lessons and Parker in F2M. Thea spent 10 years working in film and TV in Los Angeles and was a member of the renowned company, Theater 68 in North Hollywood. She has written 3 plays, one of which had its world premiere in LA, which then moved to Toledo for a second opening. Thea is grateful to be working on yet another production with her talented Mother, Barbara Barkan and is thankful for so many new BG thespian friends. Thea would like to acknowledge her wife for her unwavering and continuous support, her Father, Charlene, and her LGBT+ family for having her back always. Enjoy the show everyone!
