The SpongeBob Musical Cast

Joshua Bianca (SpongeBob Squarepants)
Joshua is a Senior who loves Be Drama and has cherished every moment growing up in this department, not only as an actor, but as an individual. They have been featured in ten Be Drama productions including Cinderella, Mamma Mia!, Into the Woods and The Laramie Project. They have also been featured in additional productions, Legally Blonde, High School Musical and Frozen! to name a few, with The Community House and Stagecrafters Youth Theater. Joshua is President of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, Vice President of Be Drama, a proud member of the Chess Club and is a student ambassador. They play the bass and are the lead singer for The Laras, a band comprised of two BHS students and one alumnus. They also work as a host at a few different dining establishments in Birmingham and Clawson. After graduating, Joshua plans to attend college and study musical theater, though they are currently unsure where they’ll go, but are totally not stressed about making a decision at all…not even one bit! Joshua would like to thank their family and friends (Natalie Ford and Jacqueline Terbrack, strictly) for their continued support and encouragement. They would like to thank Jhops for being there from the start and for providing such fruitful opportunities and lessons. Jhops is young, awesome, does cool stuff and is everyone’s favorite.
Jacob Gonzales (Patrick Star)
Jacob is a Junior who played the priest in Mamma Mia!, Jean-Michel in Cinderella, Steven Belber, Doc O’Connor, Mr. Shepard and Matt Galloway in The Laramie Project and was a stand-in for She Kills Monsters. In middle school, they performed in all three of the musicals, Music Man, Schoolhouse Rock! Live Jr. and Elf Jr. where they played Buddy. Jacob is in NHS, Tri-M and the Choral Scholar Program at First Presbyterian Church in Royal Oak where they sing in a professional choir every Sunday. They love to make videos with their friends and hope to make a future career in the film industry. Jacob would like to thank their mom, dad, brother, family and friends for being there for them and supporting them through everything.
Sydney Studer (Sandy Cheeks)
Sydney is a Senior and this is their sixth Be Drama production. They have previously appeared in She Kills Monsters, Mamma Mia!, All in the Timing, Cinderella and The Laramie Project. Sydney is the President of Be Drama, Vice President of Tri-M Music Honor Society and is the ensemble manager for the BHS show choir, Encore!. They enjoy singing (duh), acting (also duh), reading, playing guitar and writing music. Sydney plans on attending film school next year at whatever college is lucky enough to have them and will continue to pursue acting and theater professionally, in college and beyond. They would like to thank their family and friends as well as JHops and Ms. Noble for their constant support throughout the production. Sydney would also like to thank this amazing cast and crew for putting on such an awesome show!!! You're all going to love the show, as sure as a rhinestone cowboy at a disco rodeo!
Jonah Chupack (Squidward Q. Tentacles)
Jonah is a Senior and this is their sixth show with Be Drama. They’ve previously performed in Grease (kind of), Mamma Mia!, All in the Timing, Cinderella and The Laramie Project. Jonah plans to attend Wayne State University in the fall, but they’ll “believe it when we see it.” As per usual, they would like to thank Jhops and Cher.
Jordan Rowan (Pearl Krabs)
Jordan is a Junior and this is their eighth Be Drama production. Previously, they’ve performed in The Music Man Jr., Schoolhouse Rock! Live Jr., Elf Jr., Mamma Mia!, All In The Timing, Cinderella and The Laramie Project. They also worked on crew for She Kills Monsters!, has participated in four Be Drama camps and was the Co-Choreographer of High School Musical Jr. Additionally, Jordan has been in more than ten shows at Warren Civic Theater and one show at Stagecrafters. They are the dance captain of the BHS show choir, Encore!, and are also in A Cappella choir. Jordan loves to see shows almost as much as they love to perform in them! Outside of theater, they love to hang out in the BHS library, Monday through Friday, from 8:20am to 3:30pm. Jordan would like to thank the cast and crew of SpongeBob, their family (Hey Logan, love ya!), friends ( I love you all the same!), their Hailey, and their most favorite friend group (Mr. Hopkins, Mrs. Coleman, Mrs. Terbrack, and Mr. Meloche)! They think everyone here is cool!!
Stella Krzysiak (Eugene H. Krabs)
Stella is a Junior and this is their third Be Drama production. They played Charlotte in Cinderella last spring and was in The Laramie Project this past fall. Stella has been part of Stagecrafters community theater since they were just 11 years old and has also attended Stagedoor performing arts camp in New York every summer. Stella loves to travel and is President of the junior board for the Detroit chapter of CISV, an international traveling program dedicated to promoting peace and problem solving in our youth. They are an avid crocheter who will never pass up a trip to Michaels craft store. Stella is so, so thankful for their amazing dog at home, Katie. They are so excited to be able to play such a fun character and hope you have an amazing time watching the show!
Charley Burns (Sheldon J. Plankton)
Iris Macaulay (Karen the Computer)
Iris is a Senior and this is their first high school production with Be Drama. They were part of The Music Man and Schoolhouse Rock! Live Jr. in middle school and have been in many Be Drama camp productions. Iris is the President of Science National Honor Society as well as drum major of the BHS marching band. They are the event coordinator for Tri-M, leader in the GSA and play alto saxophone in jazz band. In their free time, Iris loves going to the gym, reading and playing their instruments. Iris is thankful for their parents and their partner, Naomi, as well as BHS staff, specifically Ms. Drinkard, Mrs. Weiss and Mrs. Terbrack.
Sebastian Hames (Patchy the Pirate and Old Man Jenkins)
Sebastian is a Sophomore whose first show at BHS was All in the Timing where they played Al. Last year, they were ensemble for the Cinderella and played Rob DeBree, Judge #2, Shannon, and Father Roger Schmit in The Laramie Project. They have not missed a show during high school and hope not to because of how much of a home they’ve found among crew and cast members. Sebastian has performed exclusively with Be Drama since middle school when they were in Elf Jr., though they hope to do more community theater in the future. Sebastian is a member of Tri-M, BHS Jewish Student Union and the GSA. They enjoy making art of all kinds, watching art being made, drawing, writing, making costumes, exploring new worlds/characters and reading/collecting comic books. Sebastian is extremely thankful to their choir teachers, Ms. Smith, and Ms. Noble, for always making the classroom a welcoming and enjoyable place where they can grow and create beautiful music, their middle school science teacher, Ms. Bielecki, for always telling them to remember them when they’re famous, their voice teacher, Katie Akers, for supporting them through their hesitation towards performing and helping them improve their acting and vocal skills, their parents and Gran for investing so much money into their endeavors (and being the coolest people on earth) and to their beautiful boyfriend, Nathan, for being the sweetest funniest and most amazing boyfriend anyone could ask for. They encourage anyone who doubts themselves about being onstage to let go of that fear because theater is about having fun and entertaining the audience. Everyone has something special to bring to the table and if you want to act, there will always be a place for you on the stage.
Seth Manter (Perch Perkins)
Seth is a Senior and this is their ninth production with Be Drama. A few of their roles have been Sky in Mamma Mia!, Professor in All In the Timing, Tom in School House Rock! Live Jr. and they were a knight in Cinderella. They are one of the head section leaders of Encore!, the show choir at BHS. Seth is very involved with his church as the coach of their elementary basketball team and he is the tenor section leader of the youth choir. They love watching anime, playing basketball and playing video games. Seth will be attending Grand Valley State University next year. They are thankful for their family, friends, and stuffed animals, Boob and Bart.
Maya Collins-Cokley (The Mayor of Bikini Bottom)
Maya is a Senior and has been involved with Be Drama for 6 years, beginning in middle school with their performance as The Witch in Into the Woods and subsequently, The Music Man Jr. and Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr. The pandemic experience made Maya nervous to continue performing, but thankfully last year they returned to Be Drama to play the role of Cinderella. They continue to improve their acting skills by attending workshops, acting camps and participating in the Michigan Thespian Festival. Maya is a Pattengill committee leader for the National Honor Society who loves to read anything they can get their hands on. They also love to write in their journal, draw pictures and go shopping whenever they can. After graduating, Maya plans to earn a BFA, majoring in musical theater and minoring in English, though the university they will be attending is still undecided. They are thankful for everyone in their family for helping them through this journey as well as their friends for always being there when they need them most! They leave Berkley High School wishing everyone good luck in their journey and hope that everyone always keeps their love for theatre in their hearts!
Grace Comstock (Mrs. Puff)
Grace is a Sophomore who was ensemble for Cinderella and crew for The Laramie Project and the middle school production of High School Musical Jr. They have performed with Stagecrafters youth theater as ensemble in Madagascar Jr. and Elf Jr. and was a Co-Stage Manager for Frozen Jr. Grace has participated in multiple theater camps at Roeper Summerstock Theater as well as with Be Drama. They are a member of Tri-M and Encore! show choir who plays rugby, loves baking, songwriting, playing guitar, dancing, painting, drawing and teasing Hannah Collins. Grace would like to thank Jhops, Ms. Noble, their brother, Blake, their amazing friends, Ms. Audrey, Stephanie, their parents and to dedicate this performance to their silly little dog, Nellie!
Monty Smith (Larry the Lobster)
Monty is a Sophomore who is making their high school debut Be Drama performance in The SpongeBob Musical. They have previously performed with Be Drama in the middle school production of Elf Jr. and worked in crew for Schoolhouse Rock! Live Jr. Monty is a member of the Boy Scouts who enjoys outdoor activities, creating original music and is currently learning graphic arts. They’re thankful for everyone that encouraged them to take part in the musical, particularly their friends and family who encouraged them to audition.
Chloe Hunt (Johnnie the Bartender)
Chloe is a Sophomore and this is their first high school production with Be Drama though they’ve attended many years of summer camps. They are a Tri-M member who loves cooking and making art in their free time. They also enjoy talking to their pet bird like it can actually understand them. Chloe is so thankful for their parents for constantly pushing them to do the things they love, even when they are scared to try them, and their friends who reassured them many times that they can do this!
Lilah Conger (Electric Skate )
Lilah, a Sophomore, has been part of the Be Drama productions of Cinderella and The Laramie Project. They have also participated in K-Rock and Be Drama camps and is a member of Tri-M. Lilah enjoys playing guitar, singing, watching movies and being with family and friends. They are thankful for their mom, dad, sister, Jordan, Russell, Edith, Tamsin, Ella, Ivy and the rest of their friends and family.
Aria Gassman (Electric Skates)
Aria is a Sophomore who previously performed in The Laramie Project with Be Drama. They are in the Belle Tones choir, are a Tri-M member and a soon-to-be-published author of several novels who enjoy singing and reading in their free time. Aria is thankful for their mother and little siblings for putting up with their constant singing and dancing, their aunts, uncles, and grandparents for only being a phone call away for spontaneous pickups and their therapists (as always).
Savannah Moncrief (Electric Skates)
Savannah is a Senior and has been in Be Drama’s productions of The Music Man Jr., Schoolhouse Rock! Live Jr. and Cinderella. They are in the Encore! show choir, BHS Jazz Band, and the BHS Dance Team. They love playing and learning instruments, composing music, reading, shopping, drawing/painting and going to the beach. Next year, Savannah will be attending Wayne State University as a vocal music education major with a pre-Law minor. Savannah is so thankful for their parents, friends, loved ones and the endless amount of love and support they’ve given them throughout their journey.
Hannah Collins (Electric Skates (Backup SInger))
Sophomore, Hannah, has been part of Be Drama since the fifth grade. In that time, they participated in three years of summer camp, worked on crew and performed in Schoolhouse Rock! Live Jr. as well as Elf Jr. In addition to participating in their camps, Hannah has also performed in the shows Aladdin Jr., Fame Jr., and Honk Jr., with community theaters. They are in Encore!, play roller derby, enjoy playing guitar, singing and love playing with cats. Hannah would like to thank their family, as well as JHops, their friends and their cats.
Alexandra Crockett (Electric Skates (Backup Singer))
Alex, a Sophomore, who has always had a pep in their step, outgoing personality and a passion for performing, is making their Be Drama debut with hopes of continuing their involvement next year. They’ve begun playing rugby after being introduced to it last year and are also in choir. Alex loves fashion, mainly thrifting since they are a teenager with no job and it’s also fun to find cool things for cheap, watching any genre of movie and hanging out with friends and family, which will always be their favorite. Alex couldn’t have done this without their friends and their supportive family. They are thankful to them for always being there, embracing their red hair and fighting spirit and nurturing their desire to give their all and support people who do as well.
Sarah Thomas (Electric Skates (Backup Singer))
Sarah is a Junior who has been a part of Be Drama’s production of Cinderella and the haunted theater. They have also performed in the Wizard of Oz at the Birmingham Players Barn. Sarah is a Tri-M Music Honor Society member, enjoys choir, journaling, meditation and being an awesome shining star. Sarah is thankful for their mother, father and grandma who have been their biggest supporters since day one and they could not have asked for a better support system.
Romeo Beckford (Ensemble )
Romeo is a Senior and this is their first time performing with Be Drama as well as their first musical. They have grown so much through this experience and continue to improve and develop their skills on stage. Romeo is interested in coding and graphic design and plans to attend Lawrence Technological University after graduating. Romeo is very thankful to their family and friends for recommending they audition for the musical.
Heiress Brame (Ensemble)
Heiress is a Freshman and, while they don’t have any experience with theater other than the time they played an angel *wink wink* in pre-k, they’ve always been very eager to get involved. This is their first performance with Be Drama. Heiress LOVES to dance, run and is on the cross-country team. They also love to play dress up and hope to make it their full-time job one day. Heiress is thankful to their parents for supporting and loving them and to every single person in cast and crew for being so supportive and welcoming to a newbie :)
Tyann Eades (Ensemble )
Tyann is a Junior and this is their second show with Be Drama. They previously played a Lady of the Court in Cinderella. They are a member of BHS' show choir, Encore!, as well as a staff writer for BHS' newspaper, The Spectator. Tyann loves to write, sing, and dance. They also love a good nap. Tyann is thankful for their friends, family and everyone involved in the production.
Nathan Raimi (Ensemble )
Nathan is a Sophomore who was ensemble in Cinderella and played a variety of characters, including Bill McKinney and Russell Henderson's Mormon home teacher, in The Laramie Project. They are a member of the marching band, Tri-M, and News and Broadcasting. Nathan is an author on the SCP wiki, with an original Parawatch article called Bible Belt Town on the site, several logs in a variety of collaborative articles such as "SCP-173 but...” and has several original drafts in the works. They are also working on creating music in a metal band with co-star Sebastian Hames and classmate Ephraim Ball, acting as the guitarist, bassist, and one of the lyricists. Nathan is thankful for their sister Lena, parents Steven and Rachel, friends and everyone in Be Drama, especially their boyfriend and castmate Sebastian Hames.
Corinna Santoro (Ensemble)
Cora is a Junior and while they are new to Be Drama, this being their first time participating in any school function of this kind outside of the occasional elementary school concert, they have found the experience to be rather interesting, and most of all, fun. They, regretfully, are a bit of a self-titled “lazy bones” and doesn't participate in any school activities outside of regular classes, but does enjoy hanging out with and affectionately annoying friends, reading books (mainly fanfiction), singing all the gosh darn time and playing video games (primarily Genshin Impact and Roblox games like Doors and Loomian Legacy). Cora is most thankful for their friends who have kept them going all these years; Zach, Cailey, Romeo, Nathan, Sebastian, Alana, Abby, Toby... and a bunch more but this list is already kind of long.
Angelina Sehi (Ensemble)
A Freshman, this is Angelina's first performance with Be Drama and their second theater production. Angelina is a swimmer on the BHS girls swim team and also helped coach the middle school girls swim team last season. They love to sing, dance, bake and cook. Angelina is very thankful to their parents for helping them through everything and to their friends for being there for them every day.
