Kathy was a vocal music educator and taught for 31 ½ years. She served as GWMEA President, NYSSMA Zone 2 Representative and was a NYSSMA certified vocal adjudicator. In 1999 she was awarded the University of Rochester’s Award for Excellence in Secondary School Teaching, received Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra’s Choral Teacher of the Year in 2007 and was honored as 2019 Individual Artist of the Year from GoArt! Kathy plays piano and organ for St. Paul Lutheran Church and is an accompanist at Alexander Central. She has been involved with Batavia Players since 2010 and loves working with all of the cast members that she comes in contact with at the theater and appreciates their dedication, hard work and talent that they always put forth as they prepare for their productions. Besides the theater, Kathy is actively involved in her granddaughter’s lives which includes their love of the fine arts.

Emily has appeared with Batavia Players in The Women, Frankenstein A New Musical, Little Women the Musical, Sweet Charity and Uncle Vanya. A lover of animals, nature and the arts, her interests include self- sustainability, writing, painting, metal working and volunteerism.
