Just One More Time…and Something New Cast

Amanda Melissa Taylor (Hannah Chaplin/Featured Soloist)
Amanda is a Manager - Retirement Plan Consulting at Intac FuturePlan (an Ascensus Company), residing in Amherst with her husband Tim and her two children, Liam and Vera. Favorite past roles include Nancy (Oliver), Mina (Dracula the Musical), Edna Louise (Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean),  Elphaba (On Broadway VI), and Susan (Tick, Tick…Boom!). Amanda has directed and performed in Songs For A New World, The Broadway 8, Broadway 9 and the Duets fundraising concert.
William Zerillo (Young Charlie/Featured Soloist)
Billy is 14 and will be a freshman at Notre Dame HS. Billy was part of Batavia Players Summer Theater Camp Workshops in the summer of 2021 and has performed in their 2019 production of A Charles Dickens Christmas, the youth production of North Pole Musical in 2021, Charles Dickens Christmas Carol in 2022 and most recently in the Summer Youth production of Cry Baby the Musical.
Skylar Dence (Charlie Chaplin/Featured Soloist)
Skylar has missed performing since going to college for music education. After graduating in 2023 and getting their feet under them as a first year general music teacher, Sky can finally return to performing. They just finished being the Vocal Director for Batavia High School’s production of Footloose, and jumped at the chance to return to the stage! Skylar would like to thank his mother, father, and sister for being amazing support systems for them.
James Barcomb (Mack Sennett/Featured Soloist)
James is thrilled to be working with Batavia Players again. Past performances include: Whirligig of Time (Charlie/Richard Burbage), A Cabaret Showcase, King John, Opposites Attract , One Act Play Festival: The Bear (Luka), Into the Woods (Baker), Love’s Labour’s Lost (Biron),  Merry Wives of Windsor (Falstaff), King Lear (Edgar), Antony & Cleopatra (Lepidus), Our Town (as Professor Willard/Joe Stoddard), and 12 Angry Jurors (Juror 3), for which he received the Harvie Award for Performance of the Year. James has also worked with the GCC Forum Players, Inclusive Theater of WNY, and most recently, Lake Plains Players (Comedy Tonight Cabaret) He would like to thank his fiance, Celebruin, and his family and friends for their love and support, and the cast and crew for their dedication.
Sophie Houseman (Hedda Hopper/Featured Soloist)
Sophie (she/her) is excited to be performing on the Main St. 56 Theater stage again. You may have seen her recently in Four the Record, as The Drowsy Chaperone (The Drowsy Chaperone, Harvie Award for Supporting Female Actor in a Musical) or as Hope (Almost, Maine). Sophie also directed both of last year's cabarets; Opposites Attract and The Do Not Sing List . Previous credits include Witch (Into the Woods), Rose (Gypsy), Marta (Company), Rebecca Steinberg (It Shoulda Been You), Ilse (Spring Awakening) and Brooke Wyndham (Legally Blonde). She would like to thank everyone who has made this production possible, especially those who watched her daughter, Georgia, during rehearsals, her fellow cast mates, and you, the audience, for supporting local theatre! Kristin Gelia (Oona O'Neill/Featured Soloist)
Kristin has performed with Batavia Players in Songs for a New World, On Broadway 8,9, 10, Annie (Grace Farrell),  A Charles Dickens Christmas (Mrs. Furnival),  Love Labour's Lost (Moth)  Back on the Boards Again:  A Tribute to Stephen Sondheim, Uncle Vanya (Sonia)  A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Cratchit),  Almost Maine (Sandrine/Suzette), Cabaret: Opposites Attract, Cabaret:  Do Not Sing List, King John (Constance), and most recently as Eva Peron in Evita.  Kristin is honored to have received Harvie Awards for her performances in Little Women (Jo March), Grey Gardens (Young Edie Beale), Mamma Mia (Tanya), and The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet Van De Graff).  Kristin would also like to thank Andy and her family for their love and support.  Special thanks to the Cast and Crew of Just One More Time and Something New.
Amelia Schuster (Featured Soloist/Hannah Chaplin & Hedda Hopper (Understudy) & Ensemble)
Amelia is excited to be making her Batavia Players debut in the Cabaret One More Time & Something New!. When she is not singing you can find her working as an EMT on ambulances in Monroe and Orleans County. Amelia graduated from Hilton High School in 2020 where she participated in NYSSMA Solo Festivals, All County and All State choirs, school choirs, and acapella groups. Amelia also performed in her high school productions of South Pacific and Little Mermaid. She would like to thank the Batavia Players for giving her a new opportunity to sing, perform, and meet new people as well as her mom for her endless support. Deacon Smith (Featured Soloist/Charlie Chaplin (Understudy) & Ensemble)
Deacon is incredibly honored and excited to be given the chance to work alongside all these cast members, that are not only incredibly talented, but are amazingly fun to work with. Roles Deacon has played include George (Schoolhouse Rock Live), Fred (A Christmas Carol), Lamar (Godspell), Dupree (Cry-Baby), Gangster 2 (The Drowsy Chaperone),  Oliver Warbucks (Annie) Magaldi (Evita), and Albert Peterson (Bye,Bye Birdie). Deacon has also performed in many cabarets. Deacon is the 2024 Harvie Award winner for Outstanding Musical Solo Performance. Deacon also serves as a member of the Batavia Players Board of Directors.  He would like to thank Batavia Players for continuing to allow him to be involved in their productions; his friends and family for all their support; and of course, everybody that came to be a part of this spectacular event. Be sure to catch Deacon, in the next Batavia Player's production, Pygmalion, in the role of Freddy Eynsford-Hill.
Stephen VanValkenberg (Featured Soloist/Mack Sennett (Understudy) & Ensemble)
Stephen is a native of Battle Creek, Michigan and now lives in Batavia. He has appeared in several productions with Batavia players including The Rocky Horror Show, King Lear, The Thornton Wilder One Act Play Festival, Our Town, Back on the Boards Again: A Tribute to Sondheim, The Importance of Being Ernest, and Almost Maine. He is so thankful to be sharing the stage again with so many talented friends. Past stage credits also include The Music Man, Annie, Oklahoma, Into the Woods and She Loves Me.
Molly Wadhams (Featured Soloist/Oona O'Neill (Understudy))
Mollie recently returned to perform with Batavia Players in last May’s production of Evita and also choreographed Batavia Players Summer Theater Camp production of Little Mermaid Jr. It had been 5 years since her performance on the Harvester 56 stage in Newsies. Since then, Mollie studied Musical Theatre and Business at SUNY Geneseo, as well as having been a part of multiple theater and performance clubs. Some of her performances outside of Batavia Players include Godspell (Albion HS), The Wedding Singer (SUNY Geneseo), Into The Woods (SUNY Geneseo), and When We Were Young and Unafraid (SUNY Geneseo).
Susan Price (Featured Soloist/Ensemble)
Sue just retired as a Spanish teacher from Byron-Bergen Central School and this is her debut on the Main St. 56 Stage.  Besides enjoying singing and acting, she is a frequent historical interpreter, baker and Tour Guide at the Genesee Country Village and Museum in Mumford.  The mother of three, Sue’s son Will has performed both onstage and in the pit for Batavia Players in the past, and her daughter Sarah has been performing with Batavia Players since this spring.  Sue’s other daughter Emma, is currently teaching in Spain on a Fulbright Scholarship.  Sue would like to thank her friends and family for their encouragement - especially Sarah and Kathy who pushed her to audition!
Cass Dzielski (Featured Soloist/Ensemble)
Cass is making their musical debut with Batavia players but has appeared previously with Batavia Players in the cabarets, Opposites Attract, and the Do Not Sing List. They have previously been seen in showcase performances and plays at GCC and many other musicals around the Rochester area including the musicals Rock of ages (Justice), Spring Awakening (Anna), Heathers (Martha Dunstock), and many more. They have enjoyed their experience and would like to thank their friends and family for their support.
Sarah Efing (Featured Soloist/Ensemble)
Sarah is excited to return to the Main St. 56 stage after her debut in Evita this past May. Previously she has held lead roles in Grease (Jan), The Little Mermaid (Ursula), as well as supporting roles in Hello Dolly, The Boyfriend, Little Shop of Horrors, and Picasso at Lapin Agile. When not on stage, Sarah teaches K-3rd grade at Crane Elementary in Henrietta, as well as at Genesee Country Village and Museum in Mumford. Lastly, she wants to thank her sister, Emma, and her Moms, Sue and Vera for their constant support.
Lily Kasprzyk (Featured Soloist/Ensemble)
Lily is a high school student who is homeschooled and also takes online classes through GCC. She is excited to return to Main St. 56 after performing in Christmas Carol, King John and Evita. She has performed in other productions of Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King. When she’s not at the theater she is coaching gymnastics at MCA. Lily enjoys percussion as well as painting and photography. Thank you to her friends and family.
Angie Maniaci (Featured Soloist/Ensemble)
Angie is a 2001 graduate of Batavia High School and although this is her debut on the Main St. 56 Stage, Angie is frequently found in our audience as a great patron of our shows.
Patrick D. Burk (Featured Soloist/Ensemble)
Working in theater and on stage since a child, Patrick Burk is a veteran of a number of shows and appears on stage at the Main St. 56 Theater. Married to E. Jane, he is the dad of 4 children and PopPop to 7 grandchildren. He was a former actor at the Rochester Shakespeare Theater and GEVA Theater and enjoys performing, writing and designing shows. His favorite roles include the title character in The King & I, Daddy Warbucks in Annie and the Gravedigger in Hamlet. In 2018 his first movie, Macbeth, which was shot entirely in the City of Batavia was released in cooperation with the Batavia Players and the Harvester 56 Theater. Mr. Burk loves the musicals RENT, Xanadu, Next to Normal, Mamma Mia and Grey Gardens & the plays Romeo and Juliet, Come Back to the 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean and Mary Stuart.
Seth Coburn (Featured Soloist/Ensemble)
Seth is currently taking classes at GCC at the 12th grade level where he recently performed in the GCC production of  Into The Woods as the Mysterious Man. He has performed in Batavia Players shows including A Christmas Carol, Whispers In The Snow,  Applause, Cats, Mamma Mia, and On Broadway 9 & 10, as well as summer camp productions of The Best Little Theater In Town, The 100 Year Snooze and Maggie Maguire and the Muzicle Mansion and the Batavia Players cabarets The Do Not Sing List and Opposites Attract.
Celeste Golda (Featured Soloist/Ensemble)
Celeste's favorite role she has played is “Beth March” from Little Women. Celeste has also performed in Batavia Player’s productions of Cats, Jekyll & Hyde, A Christmas Gift, Alice In Wonderland, Guys and Dolls, Newsies and This Ain’t Your Mama’s Shakespeare.
Lilah Mordell (Featured Soloist/Ensemble)
Lilah is a freshman at Oakfield- Alabama Central School and has performed on the Main St. 56 Stage in One Acts, Christmas Carol, King John, and Evita. Lilah has also been in Mary Poppins, Seussical and Wizard of Oz at her school and Mean Girls at Academy Theatre Arts. She is a Student Representative on the Board of Directors for Main St. 56 Theater. She would like to thank her Mom and Dad.
Terresa Hirsch (Featured Soloist/Ensemble)
Teressa is a veteran with Batavia Players, having performed in Annie, An Ideal Husband, Cabaret, Six Characters, Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, As You Like It, Sweet Charity, Little Women, Christmas Carol, Into the Woods, Xanadu, Company, Godspell, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Almost, Maine and Evita, and numerous productions of On Broadway. Her favorite role is being Garrett’s Mom!
