Cherylandria Banks (Galatea, Venus)
Cherylandria Banks (Galatea, Venus) was born in Memphis, Tn. This is her 3rd performance at B3 Theater. Her previous roles included Fountain Hills Buddy Holly Story , Black Theatre Troup’s Ain't Misbehaving, Sista's The Musical, Black Nativity,and SFP Black Women Walking. She’s thankful for the support of her husband, and grateful for the opportunity to work with this talented crew. Cherylandria’s motto is Trust the Process.
Rick Larsen (Neptune, Mariner, Augur)
Rick Larsen (Neptune, Mariner, Augur) is an improvisor, writer, and performer. His last non-improv acting role was Freddie Fasttalk in the Runaway Snowman in the fifth grade. He frequently performs with improv group Apollo 12 and the online show Around the House. He directed the sketch revue “The Secret Goldfish” at the Torch Theatre and the short Films “The Greatest Sandwich Ever Sold” and “Apollo 12’s The Date.” He is definitely not Banksy.
Anika Flores (Hebe, Telusa, Rafe)
Anika Flores (Hebe, Telusa, a Fairy) is ecstatic to be in her first show with B3 Theater. She couldn’t ask for a more wonderful experience to perform back in her home state. She is a recent graduate of Rockford University in Rockford, IL with a BFA in Acting and Directing. Her most recent credits include Tarrant County Wild Water Showdown with the National Theater for Children, Tecumseh! (Martha Kenton), Merry Wives of Windsor (Mistress Ford), and Revlon Girl (Jean). Anika would like to thank all of her family and friends who have been so supportive and loving. Enjoy the show!
Nancy Drago (Ramia)
Nancy C Drago (Ramia) Nancy is thrilled to be making her debut appearance with B3 Productions in Galatea! She was last seen onstage in Dec. 2021, when she played Mrs. Edna McCarthy in “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” (w/Banzerini House), which is a long-standing tradition for her, having appeared in several “Adult Christmas Pageants” at Spotlight Youth Theatre (2016-2018). She’s been on and off the stage since about 1999, mostly in New England, where favorite roles included Martha Brewster in “Arsenic and Old Lace”, Sweet Pea Meadowbrook (the killer) in “Death By Chocolate”, and Mrs Gillian Boyle in “Whose Life is it, Anyway?” and several improv comedy Dinner Theaters in RI and MA. Nancy thanks Ilana for the chance to ‘play’, and the talented cast and Crew of Galatea for this fantastic show! And a special thanks to Sara for letting mom be out of the house so late at night, as well as connecting her with B3. She hopes you enjoy the show, because it’s very funny and punny!
Tessa Geelhood (Diana)
Tessa Geelhood is thrilled to be a part of B3’s Galatea, especially after a pandemic hiatus. Tessa graduated from Arizona State University and is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate again with local theatre artists. Lorraine Taylor (Larissa)
LORRAINE TAYLOR (Larissa) “I am Lorraine Taylor, actress, singer and director. I have been acting for over 20 plus years. Worked with many different directors some my most recent directors and plays are as follows: Black Women Walking with Seekfirstentertainment award winning cast and play; B3 Theater, Herlandia; Antigone with Ilana Lydia and Charlotte Strayhorne, Pineapple with Jeanmarie Bishop and John Perovich; Street Car Named Desire, Stageleft Productions with Cody Dull. I directed two Festival of Shorts: Oh Demetruis and The Saturday-Nighters Looking forward to Galetea with B3 Theater, written by Sabrina Rose Bivens and working with an awesome cast.
Carlin Thomas (Melibeus, Astronomer, Robin, Cupid)
Carlin is thrilled to be returning to the stage for their Arizona debut after over a decade away. They are a playwright, author, and professional artist in a variety of mediums, and are in the midst of recording a scripted podcast, MY FATHER'S FILES, produced by Inked in Gray, on which they are also lead writer.
