Assistant Stage Manager
Riley Yamada
Riley is delighted to be part of Marian, or the True Tale of Robin Hood at American Canyon High School Theater. This is her third year in Advanced Drama and has worked on several past productions such as last year's hit musical Newsies as Spot Conlon. For about three years, Riley has taken online acting classes at the Young Actors Studio based in Los Angeles and New York where she and many like her study acting technique and scene work. Riley loves musical theater, watching movies, sports, reading, cooking, and going on spontaneous trips. She loves all aspects of live theater and film/TV and hopes to flourish in both as a director and actor in the future. Finally, she would like to thank her parents for giving her the freedom to pursue her many passions.
Assistant Stage Manger
Paige Rosal
Paige is thrilled to be making her debut as assistant stage manager for Marian, or the True Tale of Robin Hood. This is her second year in Advanced Drama, and her first year assisting as a student tutor for the Drama 1 class. You may have seen her previously as Mrs. Gascoyne in last year’s fall show, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night, or as Specs in the spring musical, Newsies—which granted her the opportunity to perform at the Festival Napa Valley in front of names such as Nancy Pelosi over the summer, alongside a few others from the Newsies cast. Off stage, she can also be seen in many different places: at football and basketball games as part of the varsity cheer team, on the ice as a figure skater, or at concerts watching artists like Matt Maltese or BTS. She would like to thank Ms. Heartt, her family, and boyfriend for always encouraging her to go after her dreams.
