Bobbie Barone (Lizzie Curry)
Bobbie is a Theatre Design Major at Hardin-Simmons University and plans to continue her education with a masters in theatre. The last time she was on stage at ACT was in The Greatest Christmas Pagent Ever, more recently she designed the set for Other Desert Cities, and helped with Same Time Next Year. She loves to play the piano and guitar as well as collect records and crystals. She is a cat mom to Loki and Mandi.
Jimmy Dale Abner (Bill Starbuck)
Jimme Dale is a newcomer to Abilene Community Theatre. He runs his family ranch in Merkel with his wife and four children. He attends Beltway Park Church and loves preaching to small groups. In his spare time you can find him hunting and fishing.
David Ainsworth (H.C. Curry)
Last seen as Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock’s Veiled Secret, David is no stranger to the ACT stage. You may have also seen him in Romeo and Juliet, and No Room for a Picture on the Blank Wall. David is recently retired from McMurry University where he taught theatre for 20 years. He used his experience to lead our recent stage combat workshop. David lives with his wife Carolyn and fur babies Bella and Cinnamon.
Tyler Sparks (Noah Curry)
Tyler is a long time volunteer and board member at Abilene Community Theatre. Most recently he Co-Directed Boys Next Door and was an ancestor of Prior Walter in Angels in America. He is a proud uncle to John-John and a cat and dog uncle to McGee, Bucky, Church, and Caboose. Tyler is a self-proclaimed nerd who loves collected vinyl records and playing D&D.
Tre-Anthony Johnson (Jim Curry)
This is Tre-Anthony’s ACT debut! He is a big brother to four siblings, an uncle to two nephews, and the eldest son of Beth and Jerry, who have been married for 25 years now. Tre is typically gaming, shooting, or watching DC comic cartoons, assuming he's not planning another solo travel trip. He says he’s just happy to be here and we’re happy to have him.
Kenny Cook (File)
Kenny is an Abilene native who has most recently been seen as one of the masked mechanicals in Angels In America, he was also in Hello Dolly at The Paramount and assisted directed last season’s opening show The Play That Goes Wrong. He enjoys knitting, reading, and hanging out with his friends. He loves theatre with all of his heart and is happy to have a place like ACT.
Ben Eden (Sheriff Thomas)
Last seen as Inspector Carter on the understudy performance of The Play That Goes Wrong and he is set designer for the recent Dyess Children's Theater production of Seussical the Musical. Ben works at Hendrick Hospital as a security supervisor. In his free time he is always painting or writing something when he's not roving around the country in his RV. Ben has three kids and recently found out he's going to be a grandpa. His wife Courtney is an amateur beekeeper and forces Ben to help no matter how much he fusses. You can also find Ben at Abilene's monthly Artwalk selling prints of his nerd art.
