About our Programs

Booster Information

The FSK Choral and Drama Boosters is a non-profit group of parents and alumni created to promote, support, and advocate for our choral music and drama programs. To keep supporting our students, everyone’s input and involvement are vital. Check us out and see how you can help in a way that fits into your life and schedule. Everyone is welcome! Visit this page often to keep up with the boosters or join our Facebook page: facebook.com/groups/fskchoraldramaboosters

We support our students by:

  • Assisting with the purchase of concert attire and accompanists for choral performances
  • Replacing technical equipment (such as the lighting and sound equipment) for the auditorium
  • Providing scholarships for students to attend All-State Chorus, ITS Festival, and more
  • Helping find props, costumes, and other set pieces for shows
  • Providing dinner for everyone involved in between matinee and evening theater performances
  • Hosting a party for cast, crew and pit after the final performance
  • Purchasing end of season awards for students
  • Many Other Ways!

Theater Program

FSK Theater course offerings include Theater 1 & 2 (both half credit courses), Theater 3, Technical Theater, and Honors Theater Production. Not all courses run every year. Honors Theater Production is a class in which the students select and put on a show at the end of the semester. They are in charge of everything on stage and backstage, directed by the teacher. In addition to these courses, our Key Players put on a fall play, winter one act that they take to the ITS Festival, a spring musical, and cabarets. They also run workshops and camp for the community.

2025-2026 Season:

Fall Play: “Peter & the Starcatcher” November 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd at 7pm, with a 1pm show on November 22nd

Winter One Act: “Things Fall… Meanwhile” January 21st at 7pm

Spring Musical: “Hadestown: Teen Edition” April 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th at 7pm, with a 1pm show on April 25

Choral Program

FSK Choir consists of three ensembles: Chorus, Honors Festival Chorus, and Honors Vocal Ensemble. These groups perform in two concerts per year as well as provide entertainment at various community and school events throughout the school year. The group also participates in choral festivals throughout the year.

I am looking forward to providing opportunities for your children to express themselves through the amazing art form that is choral music. While many wonderful opportunities exist for your children in the choral program, I would like to expand those opportunities in order to create an even more enriching experience for all choral students. This will take a team effort from all choral stakeholders in order to constantly provide the BEST experience possible. I look forward to working with you and your children during their time at FSK. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or ideas!

~Tyler Workman, Choral Director
