Camryn Beathley (Ruth Younger)
Senior Camryn Beathley is in her seventh year of theatre and is very proud of her 4.2 GPA. In addition to theatre, she serves as Vice President of Beta Club and is a member of the Mock Trial Team and acts as a ZHS Mentor. Camryn has previously performed in Our Town and Almost, Maine. After graduation, she plans to enter the medical field to pursue a career as a nurse anesthetist. She would like to thank her parents for always remaining supportive of her endeavors.
Makenzie Brown (Ruth Younger)
Makenzie Brown is a junior with an impressive 3.9 GPA, and she is in her sixth year of theatre. She also takes lessons in ballet, tap, and jazz. She is currently serving on the SGA and is a member of Beta Club. She has been in shows such as Cinderella, Murder at the Mirage Hotel, and 50's Bandstand. Makenzie thanks her family for their never-ending support, and she greatly admires her mother for her hard work and diligence.
D'Merik Carey  (Walter Lee Younger)
Senior D'Merik Carey is in his fifth year of theatre and has previously been in Annie Jr., Sense and Sensibility, and Arsenic and Old Lace. He plans to study theatre after graduation and hopes to become a high school theatre director. He would like to thank his siblings D'Mikal and D'Mia because without them he wouldn't be in the position that he is in today. D'Merik admires his siblings for always pushing him to succeed and guiding him to the right path.
Donovan Clark (Travis Younger )
Donovan Clark is a sixth grader in his fifth year of theatre, and he is very excited to be in a high school production this year. Donovan is very involved in extracurriculars such as Beta Club, Choir, the YMCA swim team, and Talented Theatre. In the past, he has performed in The Little Prince at Playmakers Baton Rouge and The Greatest Showman at Center Stage Performing Arts. He plans to go to North Carolina A&T to major in theatre and minor in business. Donovan would like to thank his family, Mr. Daniel, Ms. Feierabend, and the ZHS Theatre Department.
Nia Butler (Beneatha Younger)
Senior Nia Butler is in her tenth year of theatre and is proud of her 3.9 GPA. She is a member of the Beta Club and National Honors Society. Previously, she has performed in Willy Wonka Jr., Annie Jr., and House on Pooh Corner. Nia is in both Talented Music and Talented Theatre.
Courtney Anderson (Lena Younger "Mama")
Senior Courtney Anderson has been in theatre for five years and maintains a 3.3 GPA. She is in the Baton Rouge Youth Coalition, and she has performed in Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and 50's Bandstand. Courtney won a trip to New York for the Next Narrative Monologue Competition, and she was in the first group of people to participate in the All-State performance group at Texas Thespian Festival. In the future, she hopes to continue working in theatre while focusing on a chemistry degree. Courtney wishes to thank Ms. Fountain, Mrs. Masterson, Ms. Feierabend, her family, and her friends.
Cynthia Jackson (Lena Younger "Mama")
Cynthia Jackson is a freshman and has been in theatre for three years. She has performed in Shrek Jr. the Musical and Wizard of Oz. Cynthia is very proud of herself for building her confidence last year while performing as the dragon in Shrek. In the future, she plans to enter the medical field. Cynthia would like to express her gratitude to her mother and her drama and music teachers for believing in her dreams and making her the person she is today.
Kyrin Hardnett (Joesph Asagai)
Sophomore Kyrin Hardnett is in his fourth year in theatre and holds an exemplary 4.0 GPA. He is a proud member of the Zachary High School choir and Future Business Leaders of America Club. He has acted in shows such as Shrek the Musical, Cinderella, and Murder at the Mirage Hotel. Kyrin has written a total of three plays and is working on many more. After high school, he plans to move to New York to study at a performing arts college and dreams of performing on Broadway. Kyrin would like to thank his family for their continuous support and Joey Fields for offering him so many opportunities.
Kenny Collins (George Murchison)
Kenny Collins is in his final year of high school and maintains a 3.6 GPA. A few of the shows in which he has performed during his six years of theatre include Cinderella, The Crucible, and Arsenic and Old Lace. Kenny is also a member of Bronco Beat and Talented Theatre, and he serves as Secretary of the senior class. In 2021, he was awarded Outstanding Comedic Performance for his role of Dr. Einstein in Arsenic and Old Lace. In the future, he hopes to graduate college with a degree in chemistry. Kenny most admires Deborah Kleinpeter for being such a huge inspiration through her work ethic.
Kadra Bates  (Mrs. Johnson)
Junior Kadra Bates is in her third year of theatre, and she is a very active member of the theatre department. She is in Beta Club, Interact Club, and FBLA. In the past, she has work shows such as Almost, Maine; and Father Comes Home from the Wars. Post-secondary, Kadra plans to attend Southern University to major in civil law, and she hopes to become a civil rights attorney and open her own law firm. She would like to thank God for blessing her with her love for the art and her family for loving and supporting her through all her endeavors. Kadra especially thanks her sister for always being a consistent role model in her life.
Ja'Myrea Foreman (Mrs. Johnson)
Jam is a sophomore with six years of theatre experience and has been onstage before in Get Smart; Almost, Maine; and the Actor's Showcase. She is also a dedicated member of the Bronco Belles dance team, is currently serving as SGA Treasurer, and is in the Talented Theatre program. She is proud of being elected to this year's homecoming court and for placing second in the state for Public Speaking through Beta Club. In the future, she hopes to attend Howard University.
Andon Mounts (Karl Lindner)
Senior Andon Mounts is in his ninth year of theatre and is proud of his 3.8 GPA. He is a member of the Playmakers Community Theatre and has performed in numerous shows with them such as Junie B. Jones the Musical. At ZHS, he has been in The Crucible, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Cinderella. Andon is co-captain of the Improv Troupe and has scored Superior ratings every year at the Texas Thespian Festival in the group musical theatre division. In the future, he plans to attend law school or become a music producer. He would like to thank his parents and girlfriend, Lily Carter.
Marquis McQuirter (Bobo )
Junior Marquis McQuirter has been in theatre for four years, and he has performed in Cinderella, 50's Bandstand, and the Jeffie Jean Dance Recital. Marquis is in the Future Business Leaders of America Club, and he dedicates a lot of time to theatre because he believes it is necessary to develop social and business skills. After high school, he would like to attend college and start his own clothing or photography business. Marquis thanks his parents for giving him enough faith to keep doing what he loves to do.
