About Cinderella

The Liberty High School Theatre Department will present Rogers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” on November 14, 15 and 16. This production is based on the Broadway revival of the famous musical by Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein II.

 

This fairy tale follows the story of Ella (Michelle Yoder), who is treated as a servant by her stepmother Madame (Annette Oliphant) and stepsisters Gabrielle (Emily Grant) and Charlotte (Anna Decker). After her stepsisters depart to attend a ball at the palace, Ella is left behind; but she gets help from her friends Marie (Emily Gann) and Jean-Michel (Shane Wolz) with a little magic. Ella attends the ball and dances with Prince Topher (Wesley Nichols). 

 

Cast members include Julia Deters, Morgan Feinstein, Shaina Feinstein, Benjamin Gagliano, Michael Gannon, Nash Gilbo, Ashley Haberberger, Aadi Kadam, Lizzie Kayser, Dylan Lindke, Jackson Martin, Alyssa Place,  Avery Schlattmann, Bella Tegtmeier, Anna Wright, and Amanda Yoder.

 

The production is under the direction of Melissa Gehrke, student directors Alison Flitter and Madison Haynes, with stage managers Allison Burkett and Evan Mantz. The musical will be performed at 7:00 p.m. each evening in the Liberty High School Performing Arts Center. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for students and tickets will be available at the door for $7 for adults and $6 for students.
