Brett Butler (Cathy)
Brett Butler (Cathy) is delighted to be making her debut at the Terry Fator Studio. Brett is a SAG-eligible, Academy Award-qualifying, and internationally award-winning actress who has starred in several films and television shows. She is best known for her role as Gabriella in the short film Love in the Evening/Love in the Morning which has won over 60 awards in 12 countries. She enjoys working as a singer/songwriter and has written songs for soundtracks for a short film and feature-length independent film. She has experience as a print and runway model. She is also the newest faculty member of the Corsicana High School theatre department. Brett has over 20 years of experience in theatre, both on stage and behind the scenes. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Communications and Journalism from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts degree in Drama from Texas Woman’s University. She would like to thank the Board of Directors for The Warehouse Living Arts Center for believing in this show, Executive Director John Kaiser III for all his help in making this production possible, Jake Wade for his collaboration on the set, Rachel Leite for her help in vocal coaching, Aimee Kasprzyk for helping get things polished, our stage manager Diana Herrera for running lights and sound, her co-star Gabe Hawthorne for being so fun and easy to work with, her parents for their support in fostering a love of public speaking, and finally her children, James and Emilia, for always being her pride and joy.
Gabe Hawthorne (Jamie)
Gabriel (Gabe) Hawthorne (Jamie) makes his debut at the Terry Fator Studio. Gabe has performed several school productions and has won a few awards. These include All Star Cast for his portrayal of The Commandant in Dark Road by Laura Lundgren Smith, All Star Cast for his portrayal of Dr. Phillips in Louder I Can’t Hear You by Bill Gleason, and Honorable Mention All Star Cast for his portrayal of Todd in Her Senior Year by Cody Moore. Gabe is currently pursuing his associates degree in Art at Navarro College. While attending he has had the pleasure of working under two time TETA (Texas Educational Theatre Association) State Writing Award winning director, Dr. Shellie O’Neal. In the upcoming spring semester Gabe is going to be working as the set designer for one of Dr. O'neal's original shows, Shakespeare Saves the Bears. Gabe would like to thank Ms. Katlyn Anderson and Mrs. Jocelyn Ruperto for directing him in highschool and pushing him to be his best self onstage as well as backstage, Dr. Shellie O’Neal for taking the foundations that were built before and reinforcing them with a want to push past what he thought were his limits, his parents for encouraging him to pursue acting even when he wanted to give up, and his partner Kassidy Skonetski for listening to him rant about this show everyday for the past three months and being with him every day leading up to it.
