Emila is thrilled to be the assistant director for this year's production of Legally Blonde, Jr.! She's been in several other shows as a member of the cast, but her love for directing sparked from creating a series of short films with her friends and family. Emilia would like to thank everyone who gave her this opportunity, including the advisors, her family, and her friends who were cast in her various short movies. She also wants to give a special shout-out to her parents, Ewelina and Marcin, for supporting her in everything she does.

Abby Laughlin delighted to be a part of the crew of Student Production this year in the production of Legally Blonde Jr. Her past crew as a sound/manager in Frozen Jr!! Abby also would like to appreciate her crew mates and teachers for helping and guiding her throughout her show, as well her friends and family for coming and supporting all the work put into the show. George is excited to serve as an Assistant Stage Manager in this year’s production of Legally Blonde Jr. His past roles include playing Kristoff in his school’s production of Frozen. This year, George wanted to challenge himself by trying something new rather than taking on a lead role, and he is grateful to the advisors for helping him discover a new interest behind the scenes. George would also like to thank his castmates for making this production such a fun and rewarding experience. Finally, he would like to thank his family for their constant love and support. George hopes to be part of next year’s production and continue growing his passion for acting.

Najah Muhammad- Director  

Ms. Najah Muhammad is thrilled to be collaborating with the students of WJHS’ Tableau Theatre Collective again for her fourth season! A graduate of Emerson College with a degree in Theatre Education and Acting, she works as a teaching artist in NYC and the Hudson Valley for organizations including Disney Theatrical Group, The New Victory Theatre, Symphony Space, Beacon Performing Arts Center, and Juilliard’s Summer Performing Arts Program. Recently Najah was hired by Harvard’s American Repertory Theatre as the youth acting coach for Wonder, a new musical written by Sarah Ruhl and A Great Big World. Najah also serves as Director of Education for Leaders by Choice, a nonprofit leadership and arts organization founded by her most important mentor—her mother, Fonda K. Muhammad. In addition to directing at WJHS, Ms. Muhammad directs the fall play at RCK’s Masque & Mime Theatre Society. She would like to thank the cast and crew for their enthusiasm, talent, and creativity, and her fellow advisors for their dedication to this production and willingness to support her wild ideas!

Josh Conklin- Stage Crew Advisor

Mr. Conklin is a technology teacher at WJHS and has proudly served as the stage crew advisor for the past two years. He is  excited to give students the opportunity to showcase their creativity through building props and sets for our productions. He looks forward to sharing what they have accomplished with you!


Linda Eckert- Musical Advisor 

Linda Eckert is a music teacher who is in her 10th year at Wappingers Junior High School.  Currently, she teaches 7th and 8th Grade General Music and conducts the 7th Grade and 8th Grade Chorus ensembles.  She has been totally 'psyched' and excited to work with all TTC cast and crew members involved in this year’s production of Legally Blonde Jr.  To the cast and crew, “Omigod you guys, break a leg!”  "Keep it positive".

Kenneth Tornatore- Light and Sound Advisor

This is Mr. Tornatore’s 3rd year as an advisor for WJHS TTC, having served in the capacity of sound and lighting advisor during his time in the club. Mr. Tornatore is also an advisor for Roy C. Ketcham's Masque & Mime Society, where he has spent the past 11 years working in educational theatre. An RCK graduate (200), he attended Binghamton University where he studied History and Technical Theatre Design, and worked on several professional concerts, shows, and productions. After graduation from Syracuse University with a Master’s Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education, he has returned to Wappingers Falls to teach. He is currently serving on the board of the New York State Theater Education Association (NYSTEA), and is engaged in promoting theater education across the district and state. He would like to thank his family for their constant support and understanding, his friends for supporting the role theater plays in the lives of students, and his amazing team of advisors who make the magic happen.
