Director/Producer
Nick KougiasMr. Kougias attended Richland High School where he discovered his passion for theater. After attending Tarrant County College Northwest, under the direction of Brent Alford, Mr. Kougias attended St. Edward's University where he received a B.F.A. in Acting and Directing. It was at St. Edwards that Mr. Kougias was trained and directed by some of the leading artists in our field of study. It's this training and experience that he brings to the table as an educator. Mr. Kougias is very proud that many of his former students have gone on to have very successful careers in film, theater and television.
Some of Mr. Kougias's favorite productions he has worked on are Fiddler On The Roof, Equus, Born On A Sunday, Hamlet, Newsies, and The Insanity of Mary Girrard.
He would like to thank the EHS administration for their continued support and encouragement for all things theatre arts. He would like to thank his team of directors for the countless hours put into producing a quality high school musical. He would like to thank the company of high school musical for their commitment to learning and producing something of high quality for our community. Finally he would like to thank his family, it is because of their unwavering support that he is able to do what he does as an educator in NISD.
Technical Director
Courtney McDonaldCourtney McDonald has been working in NISD since 2009. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a BA in Communications.

Tamara Prevett-BushChoreographer
S. Andrew PlottS. Andrew Plott was the inaugural director of the Eaton Eagle Color Guard and continues to push the program to new heights. Mr. Plott studied music composition at West Texas A&M University and began his teaching career as a choreographer and instructor to several high schools in the Texas panhandle while finishing his studies. After graduating, he relocated to the DFW area to perform with the Black Gold Independent World Winterguard and eventually became a staff member, while also teaching some of the top programs in the metroplex. Mr. Plott has also been heavily involved in the Eaton Theatre musical productions as assistant choreographer and pit musician. Mr. Plott resides with his husband, Ethan, in North Richland Hills, where they enjoy strategic board games in their down time.
Cheer Director
Jennifer EdwardsResiding in Fort Worth Texas since 2017, Jennifer has utilized her Registered Nursing License in the Health Care Education field as the Health Sciences Practicum instructor for the Certified Medical Assisting Program at Eaton High School. In addition to teaching future healthcare providers, Jennifer is known as “Coach Edwards” and is the Head Coach for our recent 6AD1 State of Texas Champions, the Eaton High School Cheer Team. As a registered nurse, Jennifer worked in Labor & Delivery and the NICU. Her love of teaching began with teaching in the hospital setting and then landed her at Eaton High School to contribute to the community in which she lives.

Paul ElderPaul Elder was born and raised in El Paso, TX. Upon graduating high school, Mr. Elder began his studies at the University of Nevada Las Vegas eventually transferring to the University of North Texas where he studied Jazz Performance and Music Education. Mr. Elder returned to the University of North Texas where he earned his Master’s degree in 2001.
Mr. Elder currently serves as the Director of Bands and Fine Arts Department Chair for V.R. Eaton High School. The 2023-24 school year marks his 28th year as a proud public educator. In addition to his teaching responsibilities Mr. Elder is still an active working musician, and can be seen performing with the Ricki Derek Big Band, Nuevo Mi Son, as well as other groups in the D/FW metroplex.
Mr. Elder is a member of The Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Jazz Educators Association, and serves as the TMEA Region 2 Jazz Coordinator. Mr. Elder is a proud husband to wife Stephanie, father to Abigail who is a graduate student at Stephen F. Austin University, and Keegan who is a Junior at The University of Oklahoma where upon graduation will commission into the US Navy.

Bryleigh LansdellBryleigh is a Senior at V.R. Eaton High School and is delighted to be Stage Manager for High School Musical! She has previously worked on A Man Of No Importance as a dresser at Casa Manana, Sylvia as Stage Manager, and The Sound of Music as Set Crew Head. She would like to thank her company for this wonderful experience, as well as her directors for guiding her throughout the process.

Emma WhiteEmma is very excited to design lighting for this year's musical! She is a junior at Eaton this year. Her previous works include Frankenstein, Clue, the Addams Family and more! She would like to thank her fellow crew, family, and directors for their continuous support.

Gabby WeeksGabby had had so much fun working on High School Musical as a set crew head. She's loved participating in theatre as well as other curricular activities at EHS such as book club and NAHS. She'd like to thank the technical theatre crew for being so supportive and such a joy to work with!

Emma MaynardEmma is excited to present High School Musical to you! She is the costume crew head and you may know her from Clue’s makeup crew! When she’s not busy with theatre, she teaches the Emeralds Middle School dance team and is a Sapphire here at Eaton! She wants to thank all of the people who provided her taxi services!!
