Amy Merrill is a Boston-area playwright, producer and author of many plays. Amy likes to write about cultural clashes and the way in which the past is always present. Her plays have been featured at Central Square Theater (Cambridge, MA), Company One Theatre, Fort Point Theatre Channel (Boston, MA) and New Hampshire Theatre Project. In development: ARDENT GIRLS, about the political education of 1890s Chicago reformer Jane Addams; HANDY, in which local residents and summer visitors at an island off the coast of New England try to protect themselves from the pandemic and each other; WINTER COLORS, about three characters whose lives are tied together by Vietnam; THE UNRAVELING, about a young nurse in a maternity hospital in the early 1970s. Amy is an Associate Member of The Dramatists Guild and a Network Playwright at Chicago Dramatists. She is also a planner and featured artist with Her Story Is, a collective of women in Iraq and the US dedicated to peaceful dialogue and creative collaborations. Cate Brewer: is an educator, director and actor. She serves as a faculty member at American University, where she teaches in the Core curriculum. Kajoree Bhattacharya
When not freelancing as a dramaturg, Kajoree is the Company Manager for McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton, New Jersey. She has had many years of experience in performing, entertainment management, and teaching artistry for both George Street Playhouse and Disney Cruise Line. She also has experience in stage and film production (internationally and nationally) and creative writing. Kajoree received her training and graduated with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Theatre from Rutgers University. Life has led her to travel, backpack, and experience many different countries and forms of theater (India, France, Spain, Mexico, and Italy, just to name a few) for professional and social reasons. Kajoree is looking forward to working with the incredible team at Transformation Theatre again!
