Nick Robideau
Nick Robideau's work has been developed or performed with The Lark, Stillwrights, The Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival, HB Studio, The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, The Silent Barn, Title Point, The Brick Theater, Pipeline Theater Company, The Flea Theater, and at fringe festivals both in the U.S. and internationally. Nick’s play Inanimate was the recipient of The Rita Goldberg Playwriting Prize, The A.R. Gurney Prize for Playwriting, and a New York Times Critics Pick. His plays The Dark Arts for Beginners and Inanimate are both published and licensed by Broadway Play Publishing. Nick holds an M.F.A. in playwriting from Hunter College and is a member of the Dramatists Guild.

Rainah Gregory
Rainah Gregory (she/her) is a recent graduate from the University of Virginia with a BA in Drama and a minor in American Sign Language & Deaf Culture. Growing up in England, to American parents, she was raised on a lot of West End theater and finds herself pulling from both American and British experiences in her creative work. Before attending UVA she completed the Integrated Program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York (‘17). She was named the National SDC Directing Fellow during the National Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) in Spring ‘21. She was later accepted into and completed a two-week directing intensive through Yale Summer Session during the summer of ‘21. She received the The 2022 William Demoville Pettway Prize for extraordinary service University of Virginia Department of Drama. She is a proud associate member of the Society of Directors and Choreographers (SDC). Directing and Assistant Directing credits include: The Mortification of Fovea Munson: Developmental Workshop (asst. dir., Kennedy Center ‘22), Watch Me (dir. NY Fall/Winterfest ‘22), Sound of Music (asst. dir. Charlottesville Opera ‘22), Main Character (asst. dir./choreo. UVA Overcranked Short Film), Bake for Life (co-dir./writ. Mailé Nguyen
Mailé Nguyen (they/them) is delighted to return as Dramaturg for Transformation Theatre having been dramaturg for American Divide in 2021 and Finding Fauci in 2022. They received their BFA in Theatre from Ohio University, and was a recent Fulbright grantee to South Korea. Through Fulbright Korea, they conducted funded research on evolving gender expressions in South Korean media. Their other research interests include social justice education in Asian American theatre. They are currently based in Chicago and work in AAPI philanthropy and ESL education. They are thrilled to work with this amazing team on an exciting new play!
