ONE: Student-Directed 1-Acts Cast

Hazeez Aremu (Mr. Summers - 'dentity Crisis)
Hazeez in a third year theater student. "DENTITY CRISIS marks his second performance on the THS stage. He made his acting debut in the original play, A BETRAYAL OF A BROTHER which was a part of THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS. He has also worked backstage on several productions including LOST GIRL, MEAN GIRLS, and THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ.
Robin Baker-Withers (Orderly - "Mirrors")
Robin is excited to be a part of the 1-Act Festival. Previous performances include THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, and THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ (Skylar), and can be seen in the upcoming production of RESURRECTING ANTIGONE. She worked backstage in LOST GIRL and MEAN GIRLS during her freshman year, and likes to spend her free time drawing.
Emily Farag (Freddie - Mirrors)
Emily is a freshman and is delighted to be making her debut on the Torrance High stage in MIRRORS. She can be seen in the upcoming main production of RESURRECTING ANTIGONE in May. She would like to thank Mr. Hovis for saving her life!
Eleni Georgopoulos (Director - "An Experiment")
Eleni is a senior at Torrance High School and was involved in SHE KILLS MONSTERS, LOST GIRL, MEAN GIRLS THE MUSICAL, THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS and THE INCOMPLETE LIFE& RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ. She can be seen in the upcoming production of RESURRECTING ANTIGONE in the title role. Eleni is excited to dive in the world of theatre in her senior year and loves the art of acting. She also loves psychology and human connection in the world, which is seen in this play. She would like to thank her family and friends for the endless love and support.
Joey Glavan (Fred - Mirrors)
Joey, a sophomore at Torrance High, is an interesting little fellow. He is very excited to make his THS acting debut in the 1-Act Festval. He worked backstage on set and props for THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ, serving as prop head. He is also active in the THS Dance Department. He is artistic in many ways and will try almost anything for new, fun experiences. He likes the color orange and we still haven't figured out why.
Dani Haley (Mother - Mirrors)
Dani is a sophomore here at Torrance High School. She is ecstatic to make their second acting appearance in the 1-Act Festival. She was seen on stage in THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS and served as stage manager for THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ. Once again she will serve as Stage Manager for the spring production of RESURRECTING ANTIGONE. Dani previously worked as prop master during MEAN GIRLS, and in tech for LOST GIRL. They are also interested in other forms of artistic expression, such as dance and illustration.
Koa Hosoi (Dr. Soles - An Experiment)
This is Koa's second year in the Torrance High Theater Department. Past credits include THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ, LOST GIRL and MEAN GIRLS THE MUSICAL. He is excited to be a part of the 1-Act Festival!
Zakary Kramer (Devious - An Experiment)
Zakary Kramer has been acting since his Freshman year of high school. He has appeared as ENSEMBLE in She Kills Monsters, BILLY in Triangle, BOY in Lost Girl, and DEVIOUS in the 1 Act play An Experiment. He has also directed 2 productions: The Incomplete Life and Random Death of Molly Denholtz, and Shattered, a 5 minute 1-Act play that Kramer had written and co-starred in. He has also written an original 10 minute 1-Act play that he co-starred in called Beastly World as GRANDPA BRUTUS.
Maria Lewis (Director - "Mirrors")
Maria is very excited to be directing for this year's 1-Act Festival. She was last seen in THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, and Torrance's fall production of THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ. Other credits include NEWSIES as Crutchie and THE QUESTIONING OF NICK as Nick.
Charlotte Liu (Student Director - 'dentity Crisis)
Charlotte is excited to be directing 'dentity Crisis for this years 1-Act Festival. Previous credits include THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ by Ian McWethy in the role of Erin. She has also appeared in last year’s productions of LOST GIRL (Psychiatrist) and MEAN GIRLS (Mrs. George). She will be playing Kreon in the upcoming production of "Resurrecting Antigone" in May. She hopes you enjoy the show and as old Willy Shakes would say “Mine eyes smell like onions.”
Ariana Marcelo-Rosas (Impulsive - "An Experiment")
Ari is excited to be a part of the 1-Act Festival. She was recently seen in The INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ. She is a third year theater student at THS. Ari loves cats; she is most likely to become that typical cat lady in the future. “BAZINGA”
Sophia Olarra (Courageous - An Experiment)
Sophia is in her third year of theater and is excited to be a part of ONE. Previous credits include SHATTER, where she played multiple characters indlucing a doctor, therapist, as well as a child. For THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, she directed the original piece, THE BETRAYAL OF A BROTHER, a dark comedic play aobut two brothers who were once close and have drifted apart, and one of them commits a horrible crime. She also performed in last years 1-act festival in the play ALL OUT.
Allyson Rodriguez (Compassionate - An Experiment)
Allyson is a third year student and is excited to be performing once again in ONE. Previous credits include ALL OUT and ????. She can be seen in the upcoming mainstage production of Resurrecting Antigone. She would like to thank Mr. Hovis for being the most giving and generous person she has ever met!
Evelyn Shulz (Edith - "'dentity Crisis")
Evelyn is a sophomore, and is exicted to return to the stage for their third production. Previous credits include THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ and can be seen in the upcoming production of RESURRECTING ANTIGONE. They worked on props and set in the productions LOST GIRL and MEAN GIRLS, and they are excited to expand their horizons and explore different sides of theater. Jacey Sluyter (Jane - "'dentity Crisis")
Jacey is excited that you’re here, especially reading her bio. She has recently appeared in Torrance’s THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, LOST GIRL, THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ, as well as Ambassador’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and ANNIE. She also worked on crew for last year’s production MEAN GIRLS. She’d like to thank her cats and dog for listening her practice her lines, as well as you for coming here. Enjoy the show!
Moon Turner (Woman - "'dentity Crisis")
Moon is ecstatic to perform in this year's 1-Act Fest. They were recently seen in Torrance High's production of THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, and THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ. . They have been in other productions at Torrance high such as LOST GIRL, and MEAN GIRLS. They can be seen in the upcoming production of RESURRECTING ANTIGONE in the role of Ismene. They have also done productions with Puttin' On Productions including DESCENDANTS and CINDERELLA. . Moon also takes singing lessons and Musical Theatre classes at Professional School of the Arts.
Chloe Volpato (Marita - "Mirrors")
Chloe is freshman and is very excited to perform in the 1-Act Festival. Previous THS credits include THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ and can be seen in the upcoming production of RESURRECTING ANTIGONE in the role of Young Antigone. When she isn’t on stage, she’s either reading or listening to Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift.
Sam Weideman (Robert - "'dentity Crisis")
This is Sam's fourth show at Torrance High and is excited to be a part of the 1-Act festival. They were last seen on stage in THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, and THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ. They previously appeared In LOST GIRL and MEAN GIRLS (Principal Duvall). They enjoy acting and performing and often try to keep the mood fun and optimistic, cracking jokes and breaking into song.
Ka'Dyn Williams (Chip - Mirrors)
Ka'Dyn is delighted to be making her Torrance High Theater debut in MIRRORS. She is in her second year as a theater student. She would like to thank Mr. Hovis for being her light in a dim world!
