“Misery” follows the story of successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon. After a car crash, he is rescued by his devoted fan, Annie Wilkes, only to wake up captive in her secluded home. The irate Annie forces Paul to write a new “Misery” novel, and he quickly realizes she has no intention of letting him go anywhere. The tension and suspense build as Paul struggles to meet her deadline while being held against his will.
