“SOUP” is a powerful new musical about survival, resilience, and the pursuit of the American Dream—told with a flavorful twist. Based on a true story from the book “Mango & Peppercorns”, it follows two women from different worlds, one Vietnamese and one American, who overcome loss, displacement, and impossible odds to build a life—and a restaurant—together. Featuring music and lyrics by Jim Camacho (Mouse King, Cranky Carl) and book by Gil Kaufman.
